I want to help too but I don't have any skill to do it, my English&Japanese proficiency are good enough for me to read but not enough for helping translation project, yet Btw, after stay in Fuwa for a while. I feel like my minimum age range is getting lower and lower.

Learning Japanese is like a long-term investment. It maybe hard and take a lot of time but when you get the hang of it and able to read them, you won't need to wait for translation patch anymore

I think it because of they already make a lot of progress. I keep tell that phase to myself when I have a bad day. It is easy to lose motive when doing VN translation. Didn't you use to have translator who like the game? I hope to see you working in some translation project in the future

Only need hacker for starting the project and creating the patch at the end. Giving the same amount of time as other positions, Skilled Hacker can hack several VN before translation is completed and ready to reinsert

We never have enough in any position but I think translators are needed the most. You need a lot of patient to be translator too. For example : 50+ Hour VN is about 40000+ lines A single translator with translation rate at 1000 lines per week. (I try to be optimistic since actual rate is lower ) It takes almost a year to translate all of them.

Not many translator are willing to translate nukige but I hope you will able to find someone.

Just some casual calculation At translation rate of 30 lines per hour (I know someone will say it more of less than this.) Medium-length VN is about 30000~ lines (about 1000~ per game-play hour) That means a 1000+ of work hours you need to spend in translation progress only. If you work about 4 hours everyday, it means you need to translate 250+ days without rest, less if you have more translators to share the load. Other progresses are much faster but still take a lot of time Not many people with sufficient skill have free times that much or willing to work for free. Yeah, you are right. 30-50 hours for medium-length VN is about 30000-50000 lines 50+ hours for long-length VN is more than 50000 lines Even with the average translation's rate of 100+ lines per day from single translator (Unfortunately, the normal pace for single translator is much lower than this), it takes almost a year to translate them alone, more if you include TLC, Editing and QC.progress. A lot of them won't stay until the project is finished due to various reason and project without active translator has high chance of be stalled or the worst case, dropped.

TLC need to be more proficient with Japanese than translator and I don't think I'm good enough to do that, yet.

Good luck with the project. I hope you will have competent translator who have steady progress and won't give up or go M.I.A. on your project. PS: Those traits are the best translator you could get.

I heard the leader of "Witch's Garden" is also the hacker and he already done it with several project. Or you should try to contact Retran but I don't recommend this since I heard they are hard to work with and sometime......unreasonable.
