I'm not a great shot It was early on in the game before I was really good at it. I'm decent enough now, so I manage to avoid many fights.

At one point I had no ammo, but by god I had plenty of sub machine guns. On the flip side, I couldn't figure out what was using up so much space in my backpack until I sold a ton of my 9mm ammo. I had so much, it was eating a solid 10kg.

WEEK 5 DAY ONE Hello hello, and welcome to the daily challenges. Each day, you will be issued a challenge. Completing the challenge will net you 5 points towards this glorious competition. Now, I know many people have dropped out, which is a shame. Though... if everyone drops out, I won't have to give this stuff away. Right, so we have a goal this week now. Isn't that nice? Your first daily challenge is as follows: Mario is easily the face of Nintendo, and arguably the most recognizable figure in video games. Those used prices are comparable to the US. Not terribly expensive. With the Plus editions out, those prices shouldn't be spiking anytime soon.

So for retro, I'm getting the feeling we will either be doing a Metroid game, or Castlevania game. For modern, Issac and One Way Heroics seem like the common ones. Keep your suggestions coming. Tomorrow, I'll pick the games. Again, next month will be picked differently and in a more organized way

Used copies of the Arland series aren't all that expensive here in the US. Europe also should have decent releases now that NISA isn't handling it anymore.

I expect to sort of see a bit of common ground on titles, so I'll go from there. Next months picking will be more organized, as I have a plan for it.

The Complete mods don't change anything story related as far as I know. I'm doing my first SoC playthrough with the Complete mod and thats it.

Yes, I consider Metroid games platformers. Rather the older ones. As for spending a single month on a platformer, it'd be more of a time based thing. Once I see what is picked, I'll set a certain time goal for people to meet. The discussion posts will go up towards the end of the month just for organizational and timing purposes. Alternatively, I can post them a week after the game is picked to allow for "on the go" discussion. Actually, I'll do that. I like it better. On another note, if I see enough people want to play something a bit out of genre, I don't mind one bit. This should be about having fun, not going by strict rules.
