Dude. If this:- was my first VN, I would've likely given up on 'em moths ago... People don't usually fall in love with stuff like this from the first time, I've never heard of anyone who started his VN path with this. I mean, even I hardly finished it, and it was like my 10th VN or something...

Hmmmm, I see. I never thought that's all what mods do... but meh, I don't mind much. And of course upcoming upgrade HYPE!

Well, I have been getting into a few situations recently, ones that seem very small in significance, but are getting more in number. Let me just share 'em with ya'll:- 1- I can't edit or change the title of any topic I post. I need to ask a moderator to do it for me. 2- I can't remove/delete posts I've made. This one pisses me of the most. If I make a simple mistake like multi-posting, or just happened to click the "post" button too early by accident I have to go asking a mod for help. 3- I can't remove/delete a Topic I've started. This is a lot more understandable, but I still think a member should have the power to do this (without asking a mod) 4- When mods move threads around, they don't explain why. (sometimes) (If anything here can be done without asking a mod, please enlighten me) To be honest, I don't find any of these to be major problems worth mentioning on there own, but the fact that they all (except 4) seem to be coming from the same cause is alerting, this community seems to rely a little too much on mods to do stuff. Things as basic as editing a topics title or removing my own posts sound like basic stuff a member should do by himself, not have to waste a mods time for. While I can let 3 slide (and 4 can be easily fixed), 1 and 2 just make me raise an eyebrow (I apologize if the stuff I mentioned here are normal forums stuff, I'm not that use to 'em)

It's still pretty good, and many people discovered VN's through it. I would not underestimate its existence, because it is an important starting place in spreading VN's in the west

So I just finished this video. I've wanted to make videos for quite some time now, and after seeing Rens loyalty and passion to this site, i figured I'd make something for it too. Well, I don't really give a dam about artstyle, sure, it affects my whole ranking of the VN, but it comes secondary to the plot and characters. I dropped clannad because it was going to make me cry, not because of the art.And I still enjoyed most of it. Ever17 has low quality art (to most people), but I also enjoyed that. It depends on you as a person, of you're use to books and novels, then VN's don't have to have the best pics for ya. But if your more of an anime person, you'll probably care a lot about the art. But your still missing out (in my opinion) if your drop a VN for only the art
