I use my thumbs. My phone has an extended battery so it can't balance too well sitting down. I could always swap the battery when I play, but that's a lot of effort, and haven't wanted to waste LP practicing with my index fingers. Plus the screen is probably too small for that
And currently ranked 700s but I have like 70 event points and 40+ LP to spend since I don't do event songs when I wake up, just spend the LP.
I can never play SIF with my thumbs, feels too slow and sluggish. Imagine trying to get past the beginning of Wild Stars - Too hard for me.

Actually you're right, they do last up to the next event, don't they? The last one ended on Nico's event starting. Nico's birthday comes so far after the end of the event, I think the next one will start (if it starts on a Monday, Nico's birthday is on a Tuesday...) So there really is no point in me worrying about this draw until after the end of the next event. I'm going through an entire event next time starting with over 50 love gems, I could take perma-first if I wanted to

I've read before that you can get 5 love gems from the birthdays of the characters, but are those just freely given out or do you need to do/have something?
Just need to login to claim it. Sad we don't get love gems for seiyuu's birthday's too.

I was talking in between the end of the guaranteed draw and the next event, since during that small space I will have enough love gems to do the draw due to Nico's birthday. I have 46 love gems now, I'll get 5 for Nico's birthday, and get 1 for idolizing that new member from this event, plus 1 more for idolizing this event Nico.
I'm a bit confused. Does that mean you'll still have the guaranteed SR when you draw? Because the "between" you mentioned has always been a server maintainence.

I woke up an hour late and missed out on 10 LP... I'm ranked 400 already, and I spent 4 love gems. I guess I'm skipping this guaranteed 10+1 draw after.. Does anyone thing it's unwise to do a 10+1 outside the guaranteed?
Unless you really want to be in top 200 for score ranking, not a good idea at all.

My screen sometimes does not detect my finger when I press the note which is really making me mad because i'm missing the notes despite knowing for sure I pressed the thing.
I think it might be because it's detecting as two fingers because I'm moving my fingers too fast or something and thinking I'm trying to double tap a single note.
It may sound stupid, but is your screen fully clean of fingerprints, dust, etc? I don't think it'll actually leave enough pressure, but you never know ~
Kinda related to this but I think SR and URs are too overpowered in traits that aren't theirs. Any time I do an auto-formation it always puts all of my SRs on that team. It's something I've been thinking about for a while and I don't understand why instead of making them too OP in other traits just boost their main one?
UR/SR are overpowered indeed, but it's pretty useful since I can just use them across all three traits. Saves me a lot of effort leveling another card instead.
Having said that, I sometimes still replace those SR/UR with Rs instead, although this is mostly for those stamina-based ones.
1000$ is a little ridiculous.
With 100$ you can get 55 Honor students. At least like 10 of those are bound to be UR and SR.
Please don't say that.. It reminds me of my depressing luck each time. -_-

I expect the top 200 for song ranking cutoff to be ~200k for this event at the rate things are progressing. People aren't even getting the event SR Nico yet and are still hitting 190k. I bet the score cutoff will increase drastically around the 7/8th day when people starting maxing out their event Nicos =.=
The SR Nico will increase the cut-off by so much. She can potentially increase your score by 10k. That point boost is just ridiculous. -_-

If I use auto formation I get UR Hanayo and SR Umi in my team but my raw stat gets boosted more than 1k.
Is it worth it?
SR Umi is definitely worth putting in your team. Not too sure about Hanayo though since she gives stamina. You should do fine though. Just remember to allocate them on the side.

Ooh ~ That's pretty interesting. On the plus side, there is finally an incentive to hit 40k points now.
And wow... imagine Nico's skill triggering every single time. That seriously makes getting into top 200 event score a lot harder.

Did KLab increased the SR point requirement to 13k? That's pretty surprising.
All things considered, I thought they would increase the reward tier range instead.

So, the new event has been announced, it will start tomorrow.
Seems like I'm pretty screwed, since I have a school excursion tomorrow which lasts for the whole day...
God dammit. I'll be a few days behind when I get to play again. Oh well ~ There goes my sleeping hours again.
I've been thinking, missing out this SR 10+1 event might be pretty neat. Since when I next attempt it, I'll have twice as much new cards to obtain. Hopefully, I'll be able to get someone else aside from Nozomi, because I'm getting tired of her showing up every single time.

Just read through the story chapter rewards for JP's Eri event. It was so amusing and so much shipping involved. I finished with a wide grin on my face.
Well with an increasing player base let's hope that KLab will take neccesary measures and make the cutoff for second SR to top 1500/2000. Top 1000 is really stressful to compete.
Don't forget increasing the top 200 cutoff as well ~ That's just as stressful.

I really hope they don't suddenly release an EX version for the Nico event song. I don't think I'll be able to FC that and my event song ranking will be screwed up

In case I'm mistaken, expert mode does not count towards the score ranking. I was worried about the same thing as well during Kotori's event, and apparently I never had to. It does help with getting more points though.
I wonder how much competition Nico's event will get. Most of everyone outside JP seems to favor her and Maki so much.

A bit late started playing the game on the 23rd and im facing a dilemma regarding the N cards, after maximizing their kizuna to unlock the side stories, should i level them to max? or should i use them as fodder to lvl my Rs (only have Rs so far)? i mean do they have any use aside from getting that 1 loveca stone?
Also, im playing on my pc since i dont have money to afford a device (

Focus levelling your Rs (and above) first.
You only want to level your Ns when you got nothing better else to do. Or if you want to complete the full collection with max level and kizuna.

I'd argue that most devices nowadays are only made to last 2/3 years so it's not "forever"
But regardless during the device's lifespan you should have enough time to get back to buying love gems.
I might as well start saving up now then.

It's not like I cannot play SiF at all, just not now for a while.
That's sad. No Samsung phone to play with, or something else? I'm luckier in the sense that my family allows me to use the family ipad to play the game, although I would eventually have to use a new device instead of constantly hogging the family ipad.
After playing on the iPad, I refuse to play on the phone. The screen is so small, it'll just ruin my accuracy on top of everything else.

I'm not having fun, I didn't get any of the cards I wanted in the honor student draw.
Guaranteed SR > Get only 1 higher rarity card
I got the same result without guaranteed SR. At least give me 2 higher rarity cards to make me feel a bit better.

I'm imagining all those LP that could have regenerated by now.... GAH!! ~ So many LP wasted.
Do you use your family's ipad? If you do then I understand how you feel.

haha, I dont mean to force your hand about it xD
btw, I tried Yeokso's advice for making a team. I replaced my medium-value Pures with slightly lower-value non-Pures with bonus point abilities.
^ This was done with my adjusted team. as you can see I FC'd it and got an A, around 10k less than my high score.
If you cant read, the team has 6 characters with bonus point abilities, and 29.9k Pure points.
^This was done with my normal 'max pure stat character w/o bonus point skills. As you can see, even without FC, or even close to a 200 combo, I managed to beat the other team by 15k points. The difference between the two teams is about 1800 pure points, in favor of the no-point-bonus team, so it seems that points and the 1.1 bonus are really important. Both teams used an SR Pure for friend boost.
This team has 31.7k points and 3 girls with bonus-point abilities.
I'll be testing a little bit more in the future, but the fact that I can get a 80 lower combo and still beat my score by 15k with a higher point team versus a better-ability team shows to me which is more important in the scoring.
With 1.8k pt difference, I'd say go with your second team (w/o focus on skills). While I'd generally go for skills with point bonus over raw points, if the difference is already that high, I'll choose raw point instead. Not to mention, you're only sacrificing 3 bonus-point skill cards for that extra 1.8k.
I'll edit my post afterwards, but also keep in mind: Combo point bonus skills require a stream of perfects for it's effect to be noticeable. (around <15 greats.)
Anything higher, then you're probably more better off with raw point + attribute bonus.
(Also ~ your SR Nozomi should be next to your UR Hanayo for that song, more notes on either side)

I don't know which is more depressing:
- Missing out my chance to perfect combo Love Novels
- Couldn't beat my high score even if I did.
Wish I had a better team for this.
The honor scouting event between character events gives a guaranteed SR or above for every 10+1. I have no idea what the UR drop rate is, but it's still a low %. It feels easier than 1% though, although it probably is still the same rate.
