Of course it's all about preferences. And Grisaia totally doesn't fit mine. Also i would not say he's like Kotarou from Rewrite. If that were the matter i would like him . For his whole problems he is just to heroic for me.

So a short status report from me . Im nearly the End of all Routes in Grisaia no Kajitsu. At first I have to say i'm not that experienced with VN's than others and the next Lines are only MY opinion. But for me Grisaia is a big disappointment. I would not say it is bad but it is not as nearly as good than i thought (especially with whole recommendations). In every route are some really nice parts but none of them convinced me completely. If I had to rate them my order would be (from good to bad): Michiru >> Sachi >> Amane (still playing) >> Yumiko >> Makina My main critical points are: - The protagonist itself, i still don't like Yuuji. I think, if that would not be, i could look over the other weaknesses more easily. - there are too much unnecessary length in some passages So thats all for now. I finish the last route and give my final statement. Greetz

I think it depends on everyone's preferences. I would say nobody of the 5 are a abd character. I just in the middle of the Game (in Sachi's route, played Makina and Michuru before) and so i can't make a final statement. Makina for me is a ways more shallow character as Michuru. It is not that i dislike her, but for me she is only entertaining and has not much depth. Michiru in other ways was from the start more interesting, you (or I) could see from the beginning that she is not who she seems to be. If you doesn't see her that way, i can understand that she is somehow annoying, but that depends on you . So for me Michuru (and her Route) are much more fulfilling than Makina. But thats only my opinion, so feel free to correct me . PS: I complaint over Yuuji a lot, but in Sachi's Route i recognize him as a human being and feel a little sympathy.

I think i "read" between the lines an that is the problem for me . Also there are enough (unnecessary, for me) lines to read between. It's not that i think he's a bad guy or something. He do the right things but I (!) think the reasons he do that are not suited for me.Maybe it is more a general problem with me that i don't like people with that attitude

I just finished two routes of Grisaia no Kajitsu. After i read here some thoughts about the VN i started with a "good" Route and choose Makina and followed that by a "bad" route with Michiru. But so i thought... Makina was REALLY(!) disappointing... This and the fact that i found Yuuji very uncongenial was almost a reason to drop the VN. But i put all my willpower together and tried the Michuru route. Maybe it's only my Opinion, but i think that was one of the best routes i read so far (though i don't really read so many VN's). So i'm now pleased and can continue with the other ones. But i still think Yuuji is not likeable and really an asshole . Am i the only one who think so?

So i become older and older and at some point at this year i was bored by all of them and then i saw Go! Go! Nippon at Steam. Because i really like the japanese cultural i thought i give it a try ...
