  1. If you are going to link your VNDB to your Fuwa account, you might as well listen to Kimanor's advice. It will help everyone give you better recommendations and will allow us to see what your interests are.
  2. Life has a way of throwing us curve balls and doing things we could never have expected. We are sad to see you leaving, your creativity has been a huge benefit to this community and we are going to have to work harder to fill the void that you will be leaving. I hope that whatever your endeavors are that they work out in your favor and that someday you will grace us with your return
  3. Hey there new guy on the block Welcome to Fuwanovel. I might need you for a translation project actually
  4. There should be a trial patch out there somewhere according to the TLwiki page. But this game definitely did not get finished.
  5. Might as well try it since the art and story both seem good. There needs to be more good otomes out there.
  6. 4 mods + 1 Tay online.... Hmmmmmm ;)

  7. ONE was made by a bunch of people that would later go on to be Key staff. Its a good VN history lesson As for Air, its probably one of the least impressive Key releases. The story and character development were pretty good, but not amazing. It still has a strong emotional impact like all Key games. Without Misuzu it would have been a huge disappointment but Its definitely worth playing. Make sure you grab the Gao Gao translation and not the Sheeta translation if you do decide to play it
  8. Did Mirror Moon just arbitrarily choose to translate Men at Work 2? Seems kind of odd. They have been busy with F/SN, and its been quite a few years since they touched Men at Work. But who knows maybe they'll come back to the series someday. And the team that translated Castle Fantasia 2 doesn't seem to exist anymore, perhaps someone new will emerge to pick up the other games
  9. I'm sorry for derailing the topic with my remark. Just take me out back and shoot me Monogatari for me was like a reinvention of anime. I usually rate everything pretty highly, but I never call things a masterpiece. And this series is a masterpiece. I'm not going to write a review for it here (I easily could) so I'll just keep it pretty short. The character development is of the highest quality. In Bake you become familiar with nearly everyone that you'll ever see in this anime. Like seriously, if you aren't part of the story, you don't exist in the Monogatari world. Contrary to many, I believe the story improved as it went on with Second Season being the greatest example of why I call Monogatari a masterpiece. The Shaft art style is refreshing, and the extra work they put into the series is representative of the quality of the LN that it originated from. Now lets get back on track guys
  10. Nobody has even heard of that series goshhh
  11. Its hard to find good Otome games. I haven't played many myself but the highest rated on VNDB are: >The Second Reproduction >Tokimeki Memorial >Hakuouki ~Strange Tales of the Shinsengumi~ Sadly, you'll need emulators to play most of them. I can give you links to PSP and DS emulators if you don't already have one or the other.
  12. I heard about indirect kisses long before I started reading manga in middle school, I just thought it was a normal little kid thing, like cooties and stuff like that. I love giving my guy friends shit about indirect kissing whenever I share a drink with them or see them share drinks.
  13. Welcome, were glad to have another serious VN lover among our ranks I'm sure you'll get along just fine around here. You should definitely check out ONE since you enjoy Key games so much
  14. Here's a walkthrough, open it with Notepad. I hope you can find what you're looking for http://dakkodango.com/forums/download/file.php?id=155&sid=3a2eee8715eb43c7e91c851d08f58920
  15. I commend you for making this thread and having the courage to be open about your life. Planetarian was very emotional for me and I played it pretty early on. There are only 2 characters in the entire game, which makes you just feel so lonely. I definitely got a feel for the protagonist pretty early on. After experiencing so much he still carries on and that's something we can all relate to. Perseverance is a major theme in the game, and life struggles to continue on even without our knowledge. We can all stumble upon a hidden gem in the sometimes dark world of our lives. I was so touched by all the deeper meaning behind the symbols, but I found myself broken down and depressed for several days after finishing the game. I had to remind myself to carry on just as the protagonist did when he very well could have given up.
  16. Onii-chan~ Love the username. Welcome to the loli feeding grounds
  17. Welcome to Lolinovel Fuwanovel, glad you finally made an account Hope you find a little place in the forums for yourself
  18. Ever 17 is actually a good one to start with from that series. I feel like most people don't even go and play Remember11 and especially Never7 unless they really enjoyed Ever17
  19. Kara no Shoujo is a pretty serious murder mystery VN, but it actually has its lighthearted moments. Sadly, it is not available here on Fuwa.
  20. Welcome to the forums never meant so much And you even have experience with visual novels, yep you're one of us now
  21. Supreme Candy was made for Halloween. However, its rather unfortunate that the translator in charge of the project isnt willing to share the progress he's made or seek help to finish the damn thing. What's the point of being so protective about a project if its something thats never going to be finished... Got a hold of the guy on Twitter and says he's still working on it but hasn't updated the blog in almost 6 months, sounds like some BS to me I apologize for my rant, got a bit carried away there Well if you're interested in untranslated games its a good choice for the season.
  22. Wow, I didnt even notice the difference until I read this... And I agree, I always thought the Improvement board deserved to be farther up the list
  23. Even though its not a JRPG I have to mention it. Lineage II One of the best RPGs ever made in my opinion
  24. Lucky duck! You live in California so you didn't have to go very far How realistic were the effects in person? I'm sure there is no comparison to a video of a vocaloid concert
  25. Always thought this was one of the cutest images from anime I've ever seen
