Yup, just gonna go about learning Japanese instead of waiting.

Neither. Two separate entities. But eh, I'll play along. I'll say anime. Manga is great for getting those imaginative juices flowing, seeing things play out in your mind. That's great, I really approve of that because I love reading. However, actually seeing things play out with your eyes and not just your mind, letting things envelop your senses is much better. You're not just seeing with your mind, you're seeing with your eyes, and letting the music and voices create an even wider, more profound picture. That said, manga has a place, obviously. Manga is great, even if I don't read manga myself aside from Bleach, which is force of habit. It all depends on personal tastes, but if we look at this logically, anime should have more impact than a manga will. But this boils down to how production on both ends of the spectrum play things; how well it's done. At the end of the day, it is what it is.

I actually dropped Kill la Kill after the first episode. I couldn't handle it for some reason. Too dorky or something. I don't even know. The whole thing just felt weird to me, and I don't even know why.

Stupid question, but does the overall story change after chapter 4? >_> Or whatever? Because I'm feeling rather unmotivated to go through all that again. :/

Honestly, I'm still enjoying the show. I just feel like 3 episodes to introduce a character is kind of... You know... I dunno about being a waste, but stretching it maybe? I'm cool with a slower pace, it's just if this is going to be a 13 episode season (I can't remember how it went for SAO) 3 episodes being down and out just to introduce a single character is mehhh. I mean hey, if they're gonna stretch it out, by all means. I dunno, man. Rubbin' me the wrong way, lol. If they're gonna do GGO and Rosario back to back, that'd be nice, though. I'd appreciate that. There's certainly enough material for it. I just need stuffs to hold me over until mah gurl Chaika comes back in October.

GGO is boring me with the useless introduction crap, but supposedly that's done this week. Still, what a waste of three episodes that could've been condensed into just one. Oh well. Akame ga Kill is awesome, I'm loving it so far. Tokyo Ghoul is awesome as well. Everything thing else is shit. Nah, I just haven't checked anything else out yet.

I'd say go for both option 1 and 2. Read what you can now, learn while you're at it. No point waiting for all the translations you want. You're going to be waiting far longer for them to be translated than for you learn Japanese and read WHATEVER you want to read. Not pick and choose what's translated and what isn't. But that's my opinion, anyways. Learning Japanese isn't for everyone, it can be quite time-consuming and difficult. But that's per learner experience.

I dunno about traps being cute, but I think (?) Homura from Sekirei is pretty cool. Though, I'm not sure if he (it?) classifies as an actual trap or not. At first glance, yeah, that's a nice rack. But everyone knows it's a guy. That just happened to grow tits. Welllll, I guess he's still a trap, but y'know... -_-
