Watched the two episodes, gotta say, I'm addicted. It's becoming extremely hard to resist reading the manga so I don't spoil myself before it all comes out in anime form. It's really, really hard.

My bad. The only reason I know about it is because I'm in the military, lol. It does make me want to go back and read that part of the story though. I guess I wasn't thinking about it and skimming through it at some parts so it makes me wonder how I myself would've handled the situation.

I dunno how often you guys have been camping in the wet terrains, but it is possible to create a fire with "wet wood." It's a little more difficult, obviously, but it is possible. I think the whole inconsistency with the bonfire signal thing? It's just that it wouldn't have been logical. They couldn't have started the fire fast enough/kept it going long enough for it be of any use as a signal. Much less big enough. But for simple cooking? Yeah, it's very possible. But, that's my take on it. I haven't exactly tried to start a signal fire with wet wood before, but I could definitely see there being several issues trying to start one considering their situation, not just because of wet wood either. Also, gasoline would be a bad idea. Nonono. In any case, starting a signal fire is quite a bit different than camping fires, or cooking fire. So yeah, no probs man. I could understand how that might be an inconsistency to some people though, not at a lot of people have survival training these days. xD To be entirely honest myself, now that you brought it up, I'm surprised the writers of Grisaia thought that through. Gotta give them some props on their writing.

Truthfully, I just finished Makina's route after a ton of reluctance to get started on it, and I don't regret it. Makina's route is better than I thought it would be, and it was funny as hell to boot. I was laughing at every other thing she said the whole way, lol. But that good also be chalked up to my overly developed sense of humor, too. >_> Anyways, you should totally do all the routes! Even Michiru's if you can. They're all pretty good.

Momo actually reminds me of the witch girl from Comyu. They even... Look similar. Sorta. Or maybe it's the witch girl that reminds me of Momo? Curious, since they're both the "badass of the badass" of both games.

What's left to see? She's like, a walking, human supernova. Literally. Woman is cray strong.

Childhood friend bias.

Gonna watch the first episode of Tokyo Ghoul in a bit... Then I'll start Railgun sometime this week, since I finished both Index's last week. Good stuff. Still can't believe they ended Index II on that note. Ughhh.

Considering starting on Muv-Luv, which order are the games played in?
Cythnar replied to Zodai's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I haven't played Swan Song yet, though from what I have heard it's an emotional VN. I can't really comment on it because I haven't played it, and it's very possible the feels to be felt there are significantly stronger than in Alternative. Especially if that was what Swan Song was going for. I'm sure that I'll get around to reading it eventually, though. -

Enjoy the ride. Milk it. It's completely worthwhile. It was just a general statement. It could or could not apply to you, or them. Doesn't matter, really. I'm well aware it would have different effects on different people. Hell, some people might even feel elation. I did, even. If only in a twisted sense. It's also possible you'll even feel indifferent. Honestly, I think a lot of people would agree it's a great VN feels or no feels. Maybe not the greatest. At the end of the day, it is what it is. The interpretation is left up the viewer/reader. -

Go ahead and try it. Honestly, I'm more the lack-of-emotion type of guy, so for something to affect me in the least was strange. I'm not sure why or how, but there were some pretty definite feels after Alternative. Much strangeness. -

Seconded. Also, I didn't want Fate/Stay Night to end. :/ Saber-chan! I hope you're prepared to be broken. >_> -

I'm gonna have to go with the flowchart here. After Alternative, I was broken for a couple of hours. Lol. Interestingly enough, during the whole experience there were a lot of feels, but the couple hours after the ending, I had zero feels. I felt nothing! Strange experience. It's now my favorite VN. Alternative literally destroys any feels you might have. It's that powerful. That said, as everyone else has said previously, it's the cream of the series. Muv Luv and Unlimited aren't bad by any stretch. It's just, comparing them to Alternative... Well, yeah. No comparison. It's just that good. That said, honestly, I -started- with Alternative and played the other two for therapy. Seriously. It was needed. Lol. It's also the only VN I refuse to play a second time. Because the first time was memorable enough. Also, because I don't particularly wanna have to feel those feels again. -
Merci! J'adore fuwanovel déjà. Je ne parle pas très bien francais. :/ I think I got that right. Been a while since I've practiced my French. Many years. >_> Anyways, seems everyone's really recommending Clannad. I take that it's vastly different from the anime side of things? Not that I've seen that, either, lol.
-
Well, I just started watching the anime (Literally only on episode 2) as I, ironically, stumbled upon this by asking someone what a picture of something was from, and it ended up being this. I'm attached, lol. Anyways, I generally suck at rhythm games (never play 'em) so I'm kinda bad, but this is fun so I figured I'd give it a try, lol. That said, my ID is: 563371869 Same name, too.

Kazuko! Ahh, thanks guys. I can see already that people on these forums LOVE Majikoi, lol. That's encouraging. Especially Kazuko. That adorable dog!

Thanks! I love reading visual novels, haha. Kind of why I'm here. Finding new anime to watch is just a nice plus as well. I'll add both of those to my "I'll check this out!" list. Which is getting pretty long now, lol, guess I won't be short anytime soon of stuff to do. 'Preciate it. There's that many trolls eh? Thanks man! I hope I do, too. So far I'm having a lot of fun, haha. Yeah, as far as introductions go, I'm just good with words, lol. I think, if I had to correct myself, I'm not too good at describing myself? I think that's what I mean by making introductions, lol. And don't worry, as long as VN's exist to read, I'll probably still be here! For VNs, I recommend you read Umineko no Naku Koro ni, if you like mysteries, and Clannad if you prefer Slice of Life. For anime... well, I don't know what you have watched. No Game No Life, The World God Only Knows, Kokoro Connect (I love this one), Noucome, Nichijou (priceless comedy), Angel Beats. Then, I hope you have fun and I'll see you around. Oh wow, I've never been proposed to over the internet! I accept! Haha. Is Umineko any good? I have Clannad on a list already, I'll have to try it at some point since everyone seems to be recommending it! And I've watched No Game No Life... Probably three times so far. I freakin' love that show. Ugh. Totally up my alley, haha. Angel Beats was good too, and I'll note the others. Thanks!

Lol well, sir... I wish you the best of luck in explaining such an awkward situation. Should such a situation arise, do feel free to recount all the details in great humor!

I'm not at all sure how to respond to this. LOL.

Orihime. Bleach. CRINGE. Ugh. God, she used to make my blood boil. Every time she opened her mouth. Just ugh. >_>

Lol, the way you say it makes me wanna check it out. Gonna have to add it to a list then. Both of them! 'Preciate it. "Different" haha. Oh dear, I wonder how one should take that, lol.
