Actually, no, from what I remember. Just use your walkthrough provided by the english patch and you'll be fine. Getting the bad ends in the heroine routes will return you back to the choice that led to the bad end. However, I'm not suggesting you to save less often if you usually save often XD

I'm sorry everyone for creating another thread like this. I wasn't sure if should post on Bu-bu san's thread D: I recently finished a chibi of Touka from Date A Live today. That anime has wonderful character designs~ I finished this a while ago for a submission for key15th. Just a warning to everyone, this contains spoilers from all of key's works.

That's nice to hear since I'm planning to watch it very soon. For this season, I'm watching: 1. Date A Live 2. Hataraku no Maou-sama! 3. Shingeki no Kyojin 4. Suisei no Gargantia Others I'm watching are: 1. CCS (14 more episodes to go >//<) 2. Nanoha Movie 2nd 3. Maid-sama! (rewatching) I hope I can marathon Kaminomi before s3 starts airing though ]: I never managed to watch the 2nd season OTL

Basically what I did. On newer vns in 720p, the resizing is not horribly noticeable so it's worth the fullscreen. However, I cannot stand stretched artwork. >__<

I usually use auto when the mode but for Tsukihime, I've been just clicking though the text (mostly because I didn't think there was an auto mode). I like to read vns in chunks ranging from 30 minutes to a few hours (or marathon key games XD) so holding the mouse in my hand that long isn't favorable .__.;; I actually didn't realize key had good auto mode until now...

Ugh. Few more days until I can resume reading Tsukihime T__T I finished Arcueid's route 2 weeks ago and wow. I can't wait to get to the Far Side routes though. I'm curious what the girl's routes will be about. Also, I have a question. What's the recommended order for the FD/Side stories? I was thinking FD > Kagetsu Tooya > Melty Blood but I'm not sure. For Melty Blood, which version is recommended? Re-ACT, Act Cadenza, or Actress Again? I'm aware that AA is the most recent release but I'm not sure if it has the "story" part from the original Melty Blood.

Started Ef although I should be cramming for APs in 2 weeks D:. The first thing that stood out to me was the 4 (or is it 5?) pairings and the visuals. I definitely like the individual pairings ehehe~ Minori definitely spent a lot of effort into the presentation/art for this vn. I'm torn whether I should put this on hold or not as I want to read the latter tale after the first tale. I'm looking forward to Renji and Chihiro's story but they're in the latter tale OTL Should I grab the Ef lite version? And I think I'll read Ef and Tsukihime side by side; I'll just read one of those on a particular day depending on what I'm craving XD;;

I caved in from not reading vns for 5 weeks and started a little bit of Tsukihime. I'm currently on the beginning of the 2nd day. Sadly, I won't be continuing unless if I cave in again it until a month ;__;

I have to agree with the MG comment. With all the nukiges they're releasing these days, it seems like they're enforcing the idea that vns = hentai/porn/sex games. I'd rather see D.C.III (which will unfortunately be delayed; I'd rather see Aaeru's fantranslation as it'd come out faster), Ef (well, at least this is progressing... slowly), and other 100000 times better titles. I'm sorry Aaeru that you have to put up with this >//< I was honestly excited for DC III ]:

Ahh, I watched a playthrough of the 1st (maybe 2nd?) chapter of Blood Covered. It's in my backlog of stuff to watch as I can't stand playing horror games, especially if there's a chase scene (the main reason why I stopped playing IB and saw a complete playthough ahahaha//) I should watch this asap XD

I would say Little Busters!. I accidentally spoiled myself the Secrets of the World, several character routes, and what happens in Refrain by reading wikipedia back when the english patch only translated the common route (I think?). I was little (around 13?) back then so please don't bash me OTL// I'm not too upset with spoiling myself as Refrain hit me hard. Rewrite would be my second choice as I spoiled random things like who Kotori really is and Lucia's haunting ability when it was released as I didn't expect the translation to be out this fast. But unlike LB!, I didn't know any spoilers from Shizuru, major part of Chihaya, Akane, and most importantly Moon and Terra routes. (although I had an idea what was going to happen as I saw the cgs) It's too hard to choose which route to read >//< (Edit) Actually, Probably a route from Hoshimemo... probably ***'s since I feel like I didn't appreciate the vn as much as I should.

Oh, hello *A*~ I followed you on tumblr and I will on dA (too lazy atm, not very active there). This community is extremely warm so I hope you'll have a nice time here Yahaha, I hope we can be good friends as I'm surprised to find that I'm similar to you.. I'm actually surprised to find an English speaking artist the likes vns! I'm an artist as well and I'd like to study something chemistry related (hate physics though) once I'm in college *u* And I understand about creating a visual novel.. it's a tedious task especially if you're doing them by yourself. I suggest finishing Cross Channel eventually though! The story picks up during the mini routes section and I found myself weeping through the last week/epilogue. But then I hope you'll be able to read key's works as I'm a key fan O:

I usually have green or black tea or a pack of soymilk on my table when I read vns or surf the web. I might be weird for doing this but I also like to eat favorite foods of a particular character that I'm aiming for or during their route. I remember eating sweets during Komari's, baked goods during Haruka's, cup jelly during Rin's, and toast with strawberry jam during Nayuki's routes OTL

Like what Wahfuu said, it's best to do Kotori's first and Akane last. Just remember that you need to read through Kotori's to unlock Shizuru and Chihaya for Akane's route (actually, this doesn't matter if you do Kotori's first and Akane last). You can do Lucia, Shizuru and Chihaya in any order but I recommend doing Chihaya's route before Shizuru's as you won't understand her route ending unless if you played through Chihaya's.

I haven't played Ef yet but from what I heard, the First Tale is just the first two stories from the Fairy Tale of the Two. I'm pretty sure that you can use the walkthrough from the Fairy Tale of the Two for the First Tale. It really depends on your preference I guess. If you'd like something a bit dark with a bit of action, go for Rewrite. If you'd like a heartwarming story about friendship (Refrain), go for LB!. It's good to point out that Rewrite is longer than LB! too.

I finished Cross Channel yesterday and cried during the last two segments. Poor Taichi ;n; It was an enjoyable vn overall. In particular, I loved Kiri and Misato's route (Misato's reminded of me of Refrain in LB!). Although I ended out liking all the characters, I like Kiri and Touko (deredere Touko *A*) the most. I have to admit that I hated Kiri outside her route though. I wish I took Psychology this year though ]: I will definitely reread it again next year after I take that class since I think I got some of the information mixed up. I'll be taking a break from vns until end of May/June as I need to concentrate on preparing for AP exams T__T. I'm not sure which vn to read after that though; I'm planning to have a marathon of key animes and vns over the summer so I may end out (re)reading Kanon, Clannad, LB!, Planetarian, and Rewrite..

I have lots of vn in my backlog but if the patches for these are out, I will hold off what I'm reading and read these: Little Busters! ME < I'm excited for Saya's route!
