Fate/kaleid liner Prisma has one of the best choreographed fights and animation I've seen in recent years. It would be a 8.00+ in MAL if it weren't the fact that the fights are only in 1-2 episodes and the rest are just lolis doing loli stuff.... Also Madoka Magica is a deconstruction of the magical girl genre, you can't compare it to most magical girl anime IMO.

Chances of both shows getting a second season are pretty low... but all considering, NGNL had way more popularity so there's more chance for NGNL to get a second season than Mahouka not to mention budget for a 12 ep that's more succesful vs 24 episode show that's not as successful... EDIT: Nevermind that, apparently Mahouka had a lead of 3k DVD sold vs NGNL
