I'm watching the anime with the same mindset as you and am enjoying it . Cuz yeah, we've already read the VN and know what's going to happen and whatnot so who cares about the trivial matters (if you do then too bad I guess xD. I for one am just glad to get to see my favorite characters and scenes y'know, animated). Episode 2 was alright. It focused a bit more on Makina this time so I'm guessing the following episodes will focus on the other heroines' common route parts before finally diving into a route. The panty fanservice at least became more subtle this time minus Yumiko's little trip-up (the casts' reaction to that was golden btw. That wasn't even in the VN so it's nice to see the anime doing their own thing). Michiru was nonexistent this episode ;-; sometimes when she popped up I was like "Oh look it's Michiru! Where have you been ?" She only was in two scenes I believe. And to finally get to see JB driving off in her car instead of hearing the SFX like in the VN was quite a treat B)

... I can't really call myself a fan of Love Live! if I don't even know half of the song titles huh

Been a while since I've dabbled in this kinda stuff so it was kinda scary x.x but I managed and now reinstalled LoveLive & transferred my account and immediately went to play score matches. ... Forgot to disable the background character sprites from popping up when they activate their effect. My UR Nico blinded me so much >< Do you guys play with the background effects on or do you also disable?

Maybe its cuz its the weekend so all of the elites can finally start playing but man i can't wait until like 5 months pass so i can max out my cards. its annoying to go 10 score matches straight of being in last place >.>

You'll get better over time. Trust me. When I first started I bombed the Hard songs left and right, or could at best only get C combos. A week later I was laughing at how bad I was xD. It's probably a combination of both just being better at the game naturally over time along with being familiar with the song (that you are trying to FC) Try using the practice app listed in the original post to practice them for a bit before playing them in the game to save LP in case you fail. Eventually you'll get the hang of hard songs, and then Expert will be the new "omfgwtfthisgame2hard" I agree. Guaranteed idolized SR + another unidolized sounds way more attractive than 1 SR . You're just the super (un)lucky one. There's been like 20 people introducing themselves on these forums in the past few weeks and they've all gotten warm welcomes xD. Regarding some possible recommendations for VN's, I'd say go for Rewrite, Grisaia no Kajitsu, G-Senjou no Maou, Steins;Gate.
