The trick to keep people on their toes is to manically switch between being genuine and sarcastic. Not sure what you mean by someone being immune to sarcasm (by that do you mean they always see through the sarcasm, that it flies right over their head, or something else?)

I'm 10 episodes in thus far and loving it! My only complaint is that I get the impression the first half of the anime is build-up because I get the feeling nothing has actually happened yet, that we're only getting to know the characters. (Shizuo is hilarious btw) I have the dual audio version and have switched to the dub a few times during both funny and serious moments, but I haven't a very good impression of it. I'm glad to see my hypothesis that the story won't "pick up" until the second half was spot on. So far I really like Shizuo's character and feel like he's (at the very least) going to become great friends with Celty. What is this you're saying about a second season? Are new episodes going to be coming out...? Edit: after looking it up on MAL, it looks as if I started watching this at just the right time~!

Welcome to the army: I recommend you read Katawa Shoujo as it is a great Visual Novel for newbies and I enjoyed it a lot myself!

I started on Forest a few days ago but haven't really been able to get into it because I've gotten sidetracked by the Monster anime. I'm in love with Wonderland, but it's hard to balance multiple things at once and unfortunately I've been preoccupied with something else like I mentioned. One thing I've pulled from it thus far though is: holy shit there are a lot of h scenes in this (not that I mind or take offense in any way, shape, or form :3)

Can you not use your credit card for kickstarter? Damn I was considering shelling out that $120. I really want to see the 18+ editions though (what able-minded person wouldn't :3)

I actually have not tried out the app and, with your grievances against it, will likely never try it. I tend to either read my manga online or (preferentially) download it to my laptop. Hopefully they can improve its quality (btw you should add an option for not having tried CR manga)
