Uhhh.. I see learning Japanese as a massive mountain which I dread to start climbing. Though thank you for that encouragement, it just worries me how long it will take to get to that point. Any recommend language class to help with learning?

Sometimes there's certain things where I wonder if it's a cultural difference or it's just being unrealistic/fantasy/bad writing. I've come to like the Japanese culture, but not on a weeaboo level since there's plenty of stuff that I dislike. I agree with @DarkZedge and @Arcadeotic.

This is something I'd love to read. I doubt this would be translated, at least not anytime soon, and by the time I learn sufficient Japanese it might be awhile before I could read this. Any recommendations for translated VN's that are somewhat educative while entertaining?

Is Kikan Bakumatsu based on real history, is it accurate to any point? I would love to read something that is somewhat historically correct. Not that I can read Japanese... I hardly know anything of Japanese history, so why not make it entertaining in VN format? I hope it's not a trend that there hasn't been any outstanding VN's..

I'm just a positive guy. I haven't read any of the Closing Chapter so I can't really judge it. I thought the Introductory Chapter was pretty good, but I don't have anything to compare it to (I did enjoy it immensely).

The weird thing is that Avast anti-virus stopped the Steam download thinking it was a virus Probably a false positive. Edit: Seems like it's a common thing for Avast and Steam.

Not sure if serious? You tried years ago and you can't be bothered trying again? In less than 5 minutes you could be downloading this. You can't play a Steam backup without the Steam platform to boot it up from. It would take much longer to upload a backup of this VN than it would take you to create an account and download it. Anyway.. back on topic. This is a terrible job by JAST, like really bad. My expectations were much higher for translations from them. When did it all go so bad?
