Yes you can but it wont be the same, muv luv it's great (leaving that shitty ending aside ) because of how slow paced is and how different extra/unlmited are from alternative there is a purpose on that it's not just a random thing, if you take that out you will still have a great vn but again it wont be the same.

Talking a bit serious now I think it was a mistake to take down the pages where the links were hosted, the idea of Zaka can avoid a lot of problems, it wont solve them 100% there will still people asking about torrent here from time to time no matter what but it should reduce the amount significantly.

whatever you do don't read muv luv alt without reading extra/unlimited first, yes it's a pain in the ass and yes extra is really boring most of the time but you won't enjoy alternative the same way, many will tell you that you can read alt and it doesn't matter if you didn't read extra/unlimited first but that's wrong, it was meant to be played in that order for a reason: characters development (which is one if not the most important thing in any plot!) extra=character development unlimited= character development+plot related to alternative. I'm reading f/sn and it's really really good so far.

I remember that ghost and yeah it was a bit hilarious and there was another one running with a guy in a wheelchair it sounds creepy but it was not but the game is not scary because of the ghosts (which I admit I don't find them scary either) it's scary because of the ambiance in general, playing a FF with headphones in a dark room is scary, the sound effects and the music it's superb on the FF series side to side with the SH. I think berserk can easily fit in the category of utsuge (Hard to recommend it because it ends abruptly and you need to read the manga which is not even finished yet )

I'm still reading it (After almost a month) definitely not a bad vn but sometimes it's a bit childish for my taste...that's why I can't finish reading it. I thought it was something like muv-luv but it's not.

I have one: What happened with the translation of the novel was? it's the release time and they haven't updated the kickstarter campaign since February -.-

Most of the time I like to hear them because I enjoy them and they are more accurate than the translation itself.

They are scary, you can't say that fighting a ghost that has dropped from the ceiling and broke her neck while screaming "my eyes, my eyes" is not scary!! And yeah they story of the fatal frames are really really good in comparison with resident evil which is really crappy Silent hill is the best imo in terms of plot and pretty much everything else but the truth is that the FF saga is the only one that stayed truth to its root and is still freaking awesome while RE and SH are utterly crap action games this days.
