i only know about "soft" utsuge this are fairly easy to read, white breath, im reading sayonara mayumi-chan (full of eroge but still easy to read with a fairly good plot if you leave that eroge aside) konakana i dont think a machine translation would work with this one even if it is fairly easy to read(anything NVL will fail you need to translate short sentences with a machine translation so NVL are no good.). aster was fairly easy (i read like the 2 first hours), hoshiuta is on that range, btw this are all fantasy free vns (or most of them are) To be honest i cant tell anymore if a vn is hard or easy to read, I just see extremes now, like you will read vns where they go from easy to medium just because of the words or vocab they use and then you have hard vns where i just cant follow what they are saying because of they way they speak or how is written not just the vocab they use (like some parts in second novel or carnival) but if you are using a machine translation i think everything is the same. EDIT: this is with my really lack of experience in the vn world specially in the untranslated one so you should follow clephas advice with the recommendations which is a guru in the subject

in this particular case? yes, without any doubt. Also this is not a visual novel where the plot is the main focus imo, sometimes changing the writer improves the story itself others just ruins it like in SH. In this case again i dont think it matters who is behind the story, I'm waiting to see the new engine and the gameplay itself i could care less about the story

there are no jinx in kickstarter just pure statistics, it's always the same thing. I predicted how this campaign was going to end by the second week not because i'm a genius (im far from it ) but because after a few years you kinda understand how people behave in kickstarter, it doesnt matter the project itself it is always the same thing, just analyze a few campaign with kicktraq

it got really really really delayed because of some problem with the money that ouya promised them (and everyone else) but then the company was sold to razor and they dont want to pay but they were counting with that money to pay the voice acting... they also changed the engine, so yeah they are super delayed but they are still working on the game. Delays on this types of projects are things to expect. that's good to hear, if they hire some competent voice actors this could turn into a really good OELVN...

what about the voice acting?did they drop it after all?

true, they do have a shit ton of old vns but this is not acceptable (I was running the game and it downloaded that file which was not included on the zip )aslo really weird because is not installed there and it wasnt running under win 7...i dont know anymore Also they lied about the compatibility, it doesnt run under xp (in the page it even says that run under vista!) but under 95 and 98, not even 2000 or me... which the original did run so it must be something they did to the .exe for the drm system they put. I would love to get a refund and i think it falls under this cathegory refunds may be offered if the following conditions are met:1. The product has been confirmed as defective in general terms but i cant write in japanese for shit so... it wasnt that expensive to begin with so it doesnt matter @Clephas do you know if it safe to buy from digiket? they got a lot of title there too and they dont seem to have any kind of drm system...never mind they do have a drm similar to dlsite

I can confirm that it works perfectly. win 7 64bits about the novel.. that beginning was amazing specially because the music fit so well with what was going on.

lol this is the last time i buy from that shitty site, I had to put the game inside winxp with win 98 compatibily and then it asked me for the key serial... and theeeeen it checked the serial for like 3 minutes online and now i can play the game. this is what i see when i download the game why is giving me that serial i dont have any idea because when i click on the download link i just download the .zip file of the game and it doesnt ask me for anything... from xp 32 itself, the exact same error i get with win 7 I will love to share the game but my connection is so shitty that it's taking forever

like I said i even run the novel in win xp (virtualbox) and it gives me that exact same error, if i share the exe im sure you are going to see the exact same error as me because I deleted everything and just execute the .exe of the game it says the exact same thing :s

So i'm trying to run a vn, this one https://vndb.org/v6342 but i got this error "administrator権限で実行をお願いします" so it's telling me to run the game with administrator privilege but I am doing that... i don't know what else to do :/ maybe someone faced a similar problem... btw i'm already running the game as admin and the novel is installed on the C: btw i tried running the game on win xp and i get the same exact error, so it seems i'm doing something wrong....i got a serial number to use with the game but it didnt ask me anything just to download the .zip which i unpacked and that's it... EDIT: well i deleted everything except for the .exe and it keeps saying the same thing same error so it seems that it's not even trying to run the novel... I can "share" the novel with someone and see if happens in another pc..

yep 64 version here, i tried many many things it didnt seem to be a crack problem just a compatibility one

I can't run the game either and i'm using win 7, imo nitroplus and light games are always always a pain to run (illegally at least )

I like the game I never said it was bad I just said it has no story or a good one and stating that because the writer of the game is leaving the company means the game will be canceled for me that doesnt make any sense.

what guide? in half life 1 for example there are 2 characters(the police who all look alike and the scientist which are the same) in the whole game who barely say anything to y, you just keep going and try to find your way out. Level and map design has nothing to do with the story there was nothing, you enter a super complex, do an experiment that goes wrong for some reason and start killing aliens while there is a war going on between the humans and those aliens, that's it. You don't know the background of freeman, why is there, what is his job, why is it that with his awesome degree he is moving a cart with some weird shit on it when that's a job for clearly someone else... not a scientist.

you said it yourself the main character is one of the most bland and generic male guys out there, people often complain about kratos (GoW) really? freeman dosnt even talk, he doesnt have any personal trait, he does nothing AT ALL. G-man for example has a weird patter of speech and nothing else, the whole story is moronic and very simple. Again half life main point is not its story but the gameplay. That's why cs was so successful, just for using the same engine.

this doesnt mean anything, also the story behind half life is almost non existence to begin with... the gameplay it's what makes half life an awesome game not the story.

ef - a fairy tale of the two. Has one of the best love stories imo saya no uta, amazing love story and if you are felling a bit masochist you can try euphoria there is an awesome love story there too.

so far is not doing that bad..., if it keeps up this pace it will get funded (barely)
