Is Kourin no Machi, Lavender no Shuojo as good as Sharin no Kuni series?

Hi, I just bought Kourin no Machi, Lavender no Shoujo. May I ask anyone who have finished it already, is it as good as Sharin no Kuni series? I really loved Sharin no Kuni series a lot.

though it takes place in the same environment & the story is somehow well done, its definitely not as good as the sharin no kuni.
