How is the romance in Cho Dengeki Stryker? (Possible spoilers)

I've heard (from reading a few reviews) that it's pretty bad in a couple routes, and it's really nothing until the end of certain routes, and even then it's just an excuse for an H scene. But do any routes have decent romance? If so, how many/which ones?

mmm it does have some romance even in the first part and I wouldn't call it bad, now the h-scenes yeah they are out of place and really bad, the thing is

the MC is your typical army guy clueless of everything around him so expect the cliché stuff for that type of character (he is not a military guy really but you get the idea

)

There are no real romantic routes, as it's an action VN.  People fight each other, basic romance ensues, but ultimately it's all moot.  And if you want certain routes, you have to play the other ones just to get to them.

 

Heaven Saga and Love Saga are decent romance though (the latter being more of a fandisk route, and one I don't consider to be part of the overlying story the game sets forth).

 

You're playing this one for the story, not the H-Scenes ultimately.  It's a great story though.

 

EDIT:  The Steel Saga routes had the H-Scenes tacked on after the credits, which was great for the All-Ages version, but made zero sense in the 18+ one.

They're easy as hell to rip out.  Don't have to adjust any story for that.

 

And in the 18+ version, they literally didn't connect to the story at all.  They should have done them like they did...
