Mugi Posted May 27, 2015 Author Posted May 27, 2015 ye i feel you man. its like the heat magnifies the spice 1000x I had a ghost pepper and thought "Hey, maybe coffee will lessen the damage". Only to feel like I just swallowed acid. Quote

The correct answer would have been "milk" And when you realised you had none, the resulting angst would have made it more amusing. Water doesn't help much either btw. Quote

Mugi Posted May 27, 2015 Author Posted May 27, 2015 No, but I was a dumbass and drank lemonade after I brushed my teeth rather hard and made my gums bleed. Dear God, that hurt so much. That sounds double bad, stings like hell and lemonade tastes pretty bad right after brushing your teeth. Quote
Getsuya Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 I have acid reflux so I can't eat anything spicy anymore. Even when I avoid spicy stuff my stomach acid will just flare up whenever it feels like it. I'm pretty sure stress is involved (my job is super stressful) so I'm hoping things will go back to normal for me when I get a bit more relaxed of a job. I'd like to be able to eat whatever I want without it being a gamble whether I'll be able to sleep that night. Quote

I have pretty bad acid reflux every other day or so, and medicine usually helps it out a bit, if not completely making it go away. Quote

Otherwise I wouldn't be able to sleep whenever I have a flare-up. However, eating spicy food tends to make it pretty agonizing until the medicine kicks in. The best medicine, of course, is de-stressing, but sadly I can't always do that when I want to. Quote
