The Evil Within did this once too. They jacked up the price by bundling another game with it. You were unable to buy just The Evil Within. So the price stayed at $60 with some other game bundled in with it and then a 50% off label slapped to it. Very very scummy to do. Quote

The pre order was like 15 % off the game if you owned both witcher games, and Far Cry 3 was on sale a couple years ago right after it was released, not even one week had passed and there was a price drop Quote

Nosebleed Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Two of my favorite platformers of all time are having huge discounts. Braid has a 70% discount and is $2.69 right now. I played this game when it first came out, back when they released demo CDs on magazines (which was how I encountered it), and I immediately proceeded to get the full version, it's one of the greatest platformers out there for me, with amazing puzzles and time bending mechanics, it's engrossing as hell to play. This on top of beautiful graphics, story and soundtrack. Seriously, if you haven't played Braid, I vividly recommend you to. And of course you have Super Meat Boy with 80% discount at $2.79 I only completed main campaign of this and that was already a workload, the game is filled to the brim with content and it's one of the harder platformers of modern times but at the same time one of the most gratifying to play. Multiple characters with different abilities, tons upon tons upon tons of levels and fast paced platforming action. If you didn't play this once, I don't know what you're doing Quote
Decay Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 I would strongly recommend that people hold off on buying anything until either 1) They are part of a daily or flash deal, 2) already have a ridiculous discount (75% or more) or 3) It is the final day of the sale. It is entirely possible and actually common that a game is discounted but not a daily deal, but will become a daily deal with an even deeper discount just a few days later. Don't buy Nekopara at 25% off, for example, because who knows if it will go for 50% off in a few days. This is how these sale events are always run. Zodai and SilverLi 2 Quote
