I hope the characters here could be as iconic as WTC's ones. Though I don't want Keiichi clones. -_-

Also I'm kinda iffy about being hopeful for this one because last time R07 worked with a different artist we ended up getting Okamikakushi which, while not bad, was thoroughly mediocre.

Ookami had like 7 scenario writers, iirc. I'll not be very surprised if Ryu07 actually wrote only 1-2 scenes there.

Really? Konami played it up as being a big collaboration between R07 and Peach Pit, but it makes sense that it had a ton of writers. I read a few hours of it and about all I can say is that it was both mediocre and eclectic.

As long as Ryukishi doesn't do the art, it might actually look like something other than a five-year-old's scribbling.

I am very excited because so far, even being really sceptical about one of his works, Ryukishi's (07th expansion's) stories have never failed to emotionally touch me. I really hope this will be another long story, since that's where he shines.

Same here, but surely something else will cry at some point, never lose hope!

 

But I'm still looking forward to Iwaihime, Ryukishi writing a VN with spoopy focus should be good
