Steve Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 disclaimer: there is no actual loli material on the stream, the game is only tycoon and is mostly text based. Ok, here is my 5 hours stream from Game Dev Tycoon, you know that all that happens in my brain is lolis running around so you should know what genres and names you should expect xD so far only twitch highlight, youtube will be tomorrow I guess. PART1: http://www.twitch.tv...wland/c/2223599 PART2: http://www.twitch.tv...wland/c/2223605 not sure if its entertaining for others to watch but I was very entertained by my names and ideas xD How will Hoshizora no Memoria do? How will spin-offs with Mare do? What about Iroseka? What about original works? Watch full to find out xD youtube: (lower quality than on twitch as it resized for youtube so its lower res than original) and twitch has better player too, better skipping forward PART1 PART2 Quote

Steve Posted April 30, 2013 Author Posted April 30, 2013 Let me see if I can listen to this while doing game dev work tonight ~ hehe sadly no commentary but if you put it on second screen and only look at the concepts of the game I designed it should help you! xD Quote
zhurai Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 hmmm are you using the "Demo" (i.e. loldrm/fakecracked) version or the full one? Quote
Kendjin Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Haha nice work. I suck at this game, I am assuming its based on finding the right combination of type and then pushing dev time into the traits that match that genre. Where all I want to do is make a certain type of game, I don't want my studio to have to make action football games I will use this as a guide though Well done! Quote
Steve Posted April 30, 2013 Author Posted April 30, 2013 Where all I want to do is make a certain type of game, I don't want my studio to have to make action football games Yeha thats what I did, I started with somehow variable genres but still focused on lolis (such as Loli Beach Party for C64 sport beach simulator xD), made my fist big money with Pocket Lolis on gameboy which I turned into franchise and in the end went to DS (I think there was 7 Pocket Lolis games in total in the end) and as soon as I had School genre researched, I started making School Adventure for mature on PC:) I also made some random publisher deals for Lolicraft and Space Lolicraft (based on my first game Space Loils and Space Lolis Attack) but then the 3rd Lolicraft was a massive failure as it even had a typo in name, Lilicraft 3 xD After that I think I didn't touch strategy genre at all, focused mostly on School Adventure-simulation (dating sim xD) and made a good Poket Lolis game for DS when things weren't going the right way. In the end had 2d graphics on level 7 or 8 and 3d only on like 2 xD 2d girls ftw Quote

I managed to make a game finally that got 3x 10 and a 9, made me 5 million, then a group wanted to make a fangame and I let them.... YAY! Wow some of the names of those games. Quote

solidbatman Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Say what?!?! We need someone to write a small guide The $40 million games bring in $40 million. I only get around $28 million profit off of them. It helps that I developed my own console to pay for these huge budget games. I think I'm sitting on $200 million right now. But I do feel the need to create a big budget loli game now. I'll sink every last penny I have into it. Quote

The loli games were Mature as soon as I had mature researched. And Pocket Lolis were Young on gameboy xD, it was innocent RPG xD I'm making games that pull in $40 million now. I've proven that the audience does not want lolis Though Steve, I would play the hell out of Space Lolis Oh so you were one of those developers that I sabotaged xD Nothing compares to Lick 2 Little girls, sequel to the original Lick a Little Girl, selling 9.6mil copies for 120M profit. Or even previous spin-off title Lick Mare selling 7.6mil units for total profit of 100M. These games together with Iroseka received 9.75 avg score, 3 10s and single 9 (all from the same guy on the bottom, those guys probably never give 10 xD) And when 1,5m people visit my giant booth on E3 that says "Lick a Little Girl", you know that people love lolis. solidbatman 1 Quote

This may be the best thing I have ever read I'm freaking dying laughing! Medieval RPGs have been the backbone of my company (with 4 separate franchises and Action RPG spin off franchises), though I do need to branch out now. How well did the School Adventure genre sell? Because I sink a ton of money into these games and need to sell at least 1.5 million copies to turn a good profit. Quote
Steve Posted April 30, 2013 Author Posted April 30, 2013 But I do feel the need to create a big budget loli game now. I'll sink every last penny I have into it. Lick Mare, spin-off from Lick a Little Girl cost me only 6m to make and made 106m back. VNs are not that expensive to make Well Lick 2 Little Girls was like 17m as I had celebrity voice acting, orchestral music and such xD And I had so much money from Lick Mare so I clicked on the last advertisement for 2m several times but it wasn't really that needed as it gives less and less the more times you use it. Oh I made Medieval RPG game Raid n Rape on NES back in the times Was pretty well received, 7.75 avg score. And School Adventure sold well, I read some news from time to time like "another school adventure from RoRi, really?" but they still sold well. I probably had Steve in my fanbase xD Quote
Kendjin Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Started a new game... would VNs be a Sim or an RPG? 3rd game I've made in this playthrough, hope it makes some money :D/> It made 3 million Quote

Also am I right in thinking gamepad on a handheld is a waste of money? Quote
Steve Posted April 30, 2013 Author Posted April 30, 2013 Also am I right in thinking gamepad on a handheld is a waste of money? WRONG, Pocket Lolis on gameboy and DS were always somehow successful. And you need gamepad for any console, I took it for NES so I can make the Raid n Rape RPG Quote
