Playing Dengeki Stryker, it's actually been a while since i played any VNs picked this one up to help get the gears turning again and it seems it was the right choice. It's a fun read with great sound tracks, right now I'm currently on the final arc (Light Saga) taking a short break so I can get some school and downloading done (I know it's a bad combination, but for the greater good of mankind I'll do it). In terms of the routes (WARNING MINOR SPOILERS); Ichimonji's route (Sky saga) was my favourite (loved the ending), Haruna's route (Heaven's saga) was awesome but sad, the Sky saga showed just how bad ass a certain character was (it short it was epic), Hilko's route (Love saga) was the most romance oriented (and it was seriously well done) as the name suggests, loved the development of it's plot where as in Rin/Clie's route (Steel Saga) I would have loved it better if it was more branched (was too linear reducing it's value, since you have to read it twice to conquer both girls and to unlock the last saga).

 

In my opinion the h-scenes from the original (Dengeki Stryker- Haruna and Ichimonji's routes) were nicely done (four panels of CGs which allowed for a nicely fleshed out scene) where as the rest of the scenes were not as good (just 2 panels), they didn't do the other heroines justice, some of the scenes were kinda awkward (an h-scene should memorable... Lol)

 

All in all so far I'm enjoying the game cause it's pretty intense and the sound tracks are just epic, though sometimes Haruna's clingyness gets to me (as cute as she is). Now to finish the Light Saga.... So much to read so little time.... Perhpas I said too much haven't posted here in a while either

I just finished up my third route in Tsukihime (it was Akiha's route) and this VN is incredible. I'm not bawling like I was at the end of Arcueid's route or anything, but it was still really emotional.

Gotta agree he was a pretty good character, however Suzu started to irritate the shit out of at times.

maybe its because she was so annoying that I liked the other routes more, even with the amazing moments on her route.

 

speaking of ayakashibito, I just loved the op and end songs.

I'm in chapter 6 of Serawi's route. The Reaper has reappeared and now I have to journey to another church which I already tried twice and ended up failing. The challenge is both refreshing and frustrating. Wonder how much longer this route will last and which girl I should go for after this. This is gonna go on for a while by the looks of things cause my save file says i've played it for about 50 hours. Thinking about reading another VN on the side to catch up more.

Finished the first route in RuiTomo. The ending was really predictable, yet it still made me cry... I'm really weak to this kind of stuff, it seems. As for the story itself, I would be kind of disappointed at how much was left unsolved, but considering this was the introduction route, I'll just trust them to reveal everything later. It's time for Atori's route now - god that will get awkward when she finds out the MC is a trap; can't wait.

 

Speaking of which, in Rui's first h-scene, I kept expecting the curse to pop up in the middle of it and ruin their fun.

That'd be one hell of a h-scene, I'm almost disappointed it didn't happen. Why didn't it come, anyway? So many questions!

 

I'm also continuing my adventures through the land of scat euphoria. If anything, I at least have to applaud the h-scenes for the creativity. I read through the weird ones properly, and I sometimes end up regretting it. I found that human washing machine scene almost worse than the scat ones for some reason, ew. As for the story, finished Nemu's route. There were some broken choices that disappeared after patching the VN, which leads me to believe this is actually the true route? I guess I'll have to return to it once I finish up all the rest. The regular ending was quite interesting, though after being so adamant on making Nemu look like the villain, they'd better not go back on it now. Plot twists are cool and all, but really... Kind of worried here. I'm also near the ending of Rika's route, I assume. There's much less story in this one, but the character development is interesting at the very least. And that bad ending - well, I'd rather watch gore than scat, so it wasn't so bad. Kind of glad it was there, actually.

Though now I'm even more disappointment that Nemu doesn't seem to have one with the knives trap. I'd really like to see a CG of that and celebrate... but I suppose they can't do that since she's an important character? Still weird there wouldn't be a short ending for that at least. I wonder if it's the same case for Byakuya?

All in all... there was some interesting backstory, and a whole load of scat. At least it's becoming kind of a joke here, and my roommate seems to be even more curious than I am about what they can come up with.

I just finished Eden*, a sad little story. On one side I understand people compare it to Planetarian but on the other side.. its totally different. I personally thought Eden* had a deeper story, with more..variety and "story content". The feel of the story is quite similar to Planetarian though.

Also almost finished Kaoru route in Ayakashibito, only Suzu endings left after that. I think Tonya route is my favorite so far..

 

And I think I will be playing Cartagra (mangagamer release soonnn), I played the demo and liked what I saw.

Rance has too many lovely girls, always been hard to decide.

For me the best ones are Kenshin, Isoroku, Fuuka, Kurohime.
