FinalChaos Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 All this talk about C;H is giving me serious urges to go read the Noah version of the VN, though... I'm up to a re-read, and I'm very curious about the routes too... the only problem is that the kanji will most likely wreck me on the Vita, assuming the game still is in my PS+ library. No idea when they deny you access to the past PS+ games on the JPN PSN, but they let you use them much longer than on the EU one for sure. EDIT: Oh, it still is in my download list. And that VN was on PS+ on Christmas 2013... o.O Major props to Japan, this is how you do PS+ @@ Well, I guess I'm reading C;H on the side now too. C;H Noah was simply a re-release or did it have any extra content ? Quote
Vokoca Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 C;H Noah was simply a re-release or did it have any extra content ? It supposedly has routes. You guys got me so hyped that I started reading it right now; I'll let you know if there's any extra content or not. I honestly can't imagine how routes would even work in this context. EDIT: Got to the first trigger in the game, and wow, at the very least, they made them super obvious this time around - it goes over the entire screen. Not missing them this time around. EDIT2: Wow, forgot how disgusting and awkward Takumi can be at times. When he started talking to Yua in his MMO-persona-chat-speak, I was stuck somewhere between laughing really hard and screaming in secondhand embarrassment. You really don't see this often, C;H deserves props for this alone - though yeah, with my memory refreshed, I can easily see why people would hate him. I still enjoy it a lot myself, though - I'll take Takumi over a faceless or boring MC any day. Quote
Scars Unseen Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Just finished the Fate route in Fate/Stay Night. Definitely a good read, though I'm still not a fan of the text completely covering the art like that. Bittersweet ending there, though it didn't hit me as hard as Steins;Gate did before I figured out how to unlock the true ending. Probably going to start Unlimited Blade Works tomorrow, but I need some sleep first. Er... I guess I mean I'll start later today since it's 6:00 AM already. Yeah, definitely need some sleep... grim_tales1 Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Just played the Lucid 9 Project Demo and enjoyed it, some funny references in there and I wonder how the mystery will go Quote
cloudy12 Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 I managed to clear a lot of backlog over the weekend =D. I finished Symphonic Rain, Amane's route in Grisaia, Rose Guns Days Season 2 and Shikkoku no Sharnoth. All were good. Slowly going to work on Sachi's route in Grisaia and Ef during my breaks from assignments between now and reading week. Yay 200th post! Quote
kyrt Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 I've decided I'm going to read either Ayakashibito or Cho Dengeki Stryker it will come down to a coin toss on which one I read. I've read the first Dengeki Stryker game does anyone know exactly what is new or where Cho diverges or am I gonna have to re-read the entire thing? Quote

Haven't read CDS myself but Ayakashibito surprised me by how good it was, compared to what I expected. Definitely a solid choice in any case. Quote
Nerathim Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Subarashi Hibi translation patch at 94% ! I'm so impatient, it will definitely be the VN that'll bring me back to the media. grim_tales1 1 Quote

fun2novel Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 (edited) 12Riven is 100% translated. Still needs to be edited and qc's but they are also facing technical difficulties. Are you guys sure about Subahibi? Because the translation hasn't been updated in a very long time. Edited January 19, 2015 by fun2novel Quote

Ayana Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Based on some of the things people have said in the past (including the translator), I'm almost certain that SubaHibi's translator plans to fully complete the translation by this year at least. Whenever that happens, I think it'll be interesting to have a lot more people reading SubaHibi since it is quite special. (well, that's my opinion on the work) I almost wonder if SubaHibi will compete with MLA for highest rated on VNDB.. but that's quite the stretch given the H-content. In any case, I really look forward to the people reading it with the full translation release. ^^ Quote
Funyarinpa Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 This SubaHibi sounds like a huge deal. Definitely going to look into it when it gets released. Continuing through I/O Finished all 1.0 endings and I'm now in Route E. Umineko called, it wants its incomprehensible dramatic mindfuck back. Quote

Because the translation hasn't been updated in a very long time. Subahibi has progressed somewhere around 5% in the last month. The last three VNTS updates has shown updated progress. That's just translation, however. Editing has not progressed at all. Who knows how long that will take, it's all up to Herkz. Quote

I don't know exactly what this means, but it implies that editing progress might not end up happening as slowly as the translation progress over the last few years did. Quote

Decay Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Are the H scenes being translated in Suba Hibi? I didnt think they were. They are. The deal is they aren't listing the ero replay scripts in the translation progress. Due to the way the game was made, the h-scene replay feature uses different script files, but are the same in content. All h-scenes will be translated, as they are in the partial that was released. Ayana Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Are the H scenes being translated in Suba Hibi? I didnt think they were. Yes. The H scenes are also being translated because most of them are relatively important to the story (as in, they contribute to the content of the story). It'd actually be pretty crazy if they were left out of the translation. :/ grim_tales1 1 Quote
grim_tales1 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Oh I see, thanks Itll be a change for H scenes to add to the story Quote
Vokoca Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Playing HuniePop... I was secretly addicted to Bejeweled all this time, so buying this thing was probably the biggest mistake I've ever made. The writing is killing me too, really enjoying this so far. Quote
