ERO! Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 https://www.google.com/ <-- p good site. I'd like this, but i've used all my likes for the day. Quote
ERO! Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 i prefer yahoo, it makes me feel like shouting. lol bad jokes ftw Quote
Decay Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 How is it, by the way? I've heard it's quite ridiculous and silly. It's alright. The protagonist is a mega pervert which isn't really my thing. Some of the humor is pretty good. I felt like the different routes get a little repetitive, they retread the same ground a little too much. Overall a decent and funny VN. Quote
Decay Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Probably. But I also don't know much about JAST sales, who knows how long you'll be waiting for. Quote
Getsuya Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Well I'm still not done with a single route of Eustia... I'm starting to get that 90s fantasy novel feel from how long and full of plot threads it is. Not in any way a bad thing, since I love 90s fantasy. I was a little worried when I found Eustia (the girl, not the game) to be kind of annoying since I figured most of the story would be about her, but this is definitely a game that gives each heroine an equal amount of time in the limelight even in the main route. After the prologue there's just a brief bit with Eustia and then you basically just ditch her (well not really but) for the next girl's storyline. There's even a part where Caim tells Eustia 'please just stop talking' since she obviously has no idea what's going on. And the story right after the prologue? The feels. All the feels. All the feels forever. The game is going to need to pull some pretty crazy stuff after this to top what it's already shown me. I'm not sure anything else in this game will be able to make me cry after I already spent so many tears on the second plotline. Quote
douggle Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 How is it, by the way? I've heard it's quite ridiculous and silly. Nope, against the rules to directly ask for torrents. Sorry, man. I'm loving Hideo in Majikoi. "Look, I took an octopus as a hostage!" xD It IS hilarious but its a good light-hearted read, and Ell is kawaii as fug Quote
sub-zer0 Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Well, I am a Steam user, so I do have the willpower to wait several months before I buy a game. I have enough VNs to occupy my time until then, anyway. Steam users can support the VN industry by buying the game and using the uncensor patch link provided by the company to make it the 18+ version, since steam has that no adult content policy Quote
Down Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Just reached the opening of Eustia too. Guess I'll play that game for real now. Hopefully I can read both that and Piano Pianissimo (or maybe finish Draculius?) before my exams, then I get my holidays to start SubaHibi ヽ(◕‿◕✿)ノ Nothing very original to say about Eustia so far, really nice setting, quite refreshing compared with what we're used to see (I don't regret enlarging my pool of available eroge a lot by learning japanese!), nice chara-design, cool music, yada yada it looks pretty good. GetterEmperor Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Started Miyako's route in Majikoi so I'll finish that soon. YU-NO is progressing quite nicely and also started Yumina the Ethereal so I'm looking forward to that. Quote
XReaper Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 better to pause yumina after each route, cause the grinding is bit overdosed & you might loose your will to continue. yu-no is fucking great & i hope they wont mess the remake up Quote

Nerathim Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Is that true that Utawarerumono is overly buggy on Windows 7 ? I'm interested in it but it seems to be a real pain to make it works normally from what I've read. Quote

I'm interested in it but it seems to be a real pain to make it works normally from what I've read. I have windows 8 so can't say for sure, but I think it should run alright on 7. Utawarerumono is pretty nice so I hope you can get it to work. It was a huge upgrade. +All ages (okay maybe that's just a plus for me) +New battle system with programming help from Flight Plan, who make lots of good SRPGs that never get released in the US +Voices +Freaking amazing new vocal OP from Suara who did the amazing OP for the anime too: If they haven't already found a way to dump the English script from the PC translation into the PS2 version they really need to because the PS2 version is 110% better. Quote
Nerathim Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 It shouldn't be impossible to dump the PC translation into PS2 version, I think...But I don't know which file(s) contains the script, that's the problem. Quote
Tesla Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 I'm currently playing My Girlfriend is the President and I'm loving it. The girls are cute and the 4th wall breaking seals the deal for me since I'm a sucker for anything that breaks the 4th wall. Quote

Somebody is already translating the PSP version, which has a few further enhancements, but they're doing it from scratch so it will take a while. Progress seems slow, I kind of doubt it will ever happen. The PC version isn't very buggy. The main problem is that it runs too fast which can make the timed hits difficult, but there's a very easy fix using Cheat Engine, use the speed hack to slow down the speed. Also the PC version is fully voiced, not sure why getsuya listed that as a plus for the console one. The all-ages thing is probably a plus, though, because its h-scenes are hilariously stupid and worthless. Quote
chocoberry Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 I'm in the middle of the UBW route in F/SN and I just started playing Yosuga no Sora (I'm playing this just for Sora actually XD). Quote
FinalChaos Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Finished Miyako's route. I think that the route was pretty and doesn't deserve all the bashing that some people are giving it. True it isn't as ridiculously extravagant as the other routes but it's good nonetheless. If anything it's more realistic than all the other routes. Though I also found it to be a bit mild, and really missed the Battle Royale that had happened at the end of the other routes. Well that Battle Royale was one the things that was looking forward to the most. At one point I even thought that the final fight would be against the Ayanokoji family. It was certainly nice to see the character development of Miyako, her character development was definitely better than that of Momoyo and Chris. And I really hadn't expected that Miyako and Chris would become this close. That last cg at the end showing adult Miyako and Chris was nice too(I guess that's the only time we were actually shown their adult selves). For now, Best route : Momoyo >> Mayucchi > Miyako > Chris Best Girl : Gen-san > Kazama >>> Mayucchi > Miyako = Chris > Momoyo I shall play some of the side-routes (Mayo and Chika) now and then get to Wanko's route. Vokoca Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Just finished my first arc in Higurashi Sui, the Taraimawashi arc! To sum it up into two sentences, it was something like: "So you want to run away from the problems? Well here, have a horrible bad ending!" Even the characters joke about how little clues this arc actually gives you in the bonus scenes after the ending... which are great, by the way; the self-aware 'Wrap-up parties' are a hilarious idea. Really enjoying Sui so far. Can't wait to mess around with the choices now that I ran through the flowchart once, let's see what arc I land into next. Please not Tatarigoroshi. Quote
