XReaper Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 wouldnt surprise me if they released pure x cure instead, because its the only one of their titles that already has a non-adult version *shatterer of hopes & dreams LinovaA and Kawasumi 2 Quote
Crayten Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 And there i thought they year couldnt get any crazier. And yes, Mangagamer or Jast would be the correct choice for them. Quote
Tatanka82 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 If SP would get a deal , I am sure it will be on Kickstarter (all ages -.-) Jast needs so damn much time to release a game :/ And MG has a huuuuuuuuge backlog of titles now. But I would like to see MG pick it up or Jast ,if they finally start to release games faster sanahtlig 1 Quote
Decay Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I agree with Conjueror. As I wrote on reddit, this game have 85/100 on EGS and was placed high in 2014 Getchu Rankings (3rd Overall/2nd Scenario/3rd Movie categories) I don't think SP will take the offer though... With almost(if not all?) their titles having all-ages PSV/PC versions and being released on Steam, such a heavy 18+ content partner wouldn't be appropriate for them. Maybe they will do it through DenpaSoft, but I don't think so... And there's also what would Chuablesoft demand/want to release first, and costs. The good thing is of course that the president himself responded on twitter that they're interested in english releases. I'm slowly starting to hate SP for "all-ages or nothing policy" Quote
Maxel Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 SP does have two adult-only projects lined up with no steam release planned, those being Sacrament Sheep and Atom Grrrl. But these are also shorter doujin titles, and also Yuri That's what I'm talking about, two SHORT/UNKNOWN(probably pretty cheap license, they'll make profit from this) and yuri(meh) Visual Novels instead of bringing us normal 18+ titles. I also have bad feeling with SP entering manga industry... I think dovac should do something like splitting teams 50/50 to work on SP and Denpa simultaneously, and not only on SP all-ages VNs and speaking in the shadows that Denpa will bring 18+(maybe?) From what I've read on SP froum, dovac want to focus on SP though... Every 18+ only title would need to go through Denpa and: https://twitter.com/Denpasoft_pr https://denpasoft.com/(Pretty much dead website, and almost dead twitter) Yeah, forgot, they'll be releasing Grisaia on Denpa this week. I'll be pretty amazed(and happy) if there'll be any good 18+ only titles coming from Denpa(and I don't mean short yuris) But it won't be anytime soon. First SP would need way better PR and more staff to handle Denpa+SP itself. There's no comparision between MG and SP websites. This looks really cool: http://mangagamer.org/announcements/ I know MG is way longer on the market, but SP SHOULD take example from them, and invest some money/time in PR/websites/Denpa, it will be worth... RikiSanic Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 According to dovac on the SP forum, they're working on a site redesign for both their SP page and Denpasoft. He also said that since more titles are coming out on Denpasoft now more staff will be moved toward it. I think people underestimate just how young Sekai Project is as a company. They're still looking for partners so they can set up their own store, for example. (Probably why they're more willing to put stuff on Steam.) Quote

Crayten Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 イシダP(療養中)@twit_chu . @Rettroix Thank you for your replies. I'm interested in those events, so I'll check the schedules and try to go. It seem like that the president of ChuableSoft is interested in going to one the bigger events to meet the 3 Big VN Publisher in the West. Quote

Crayten Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Well, some days ago he even tweeted to Sekai to ask about "how do you say "oppai" in your language" relevant knowledge huh Quote
Conjueror Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 I like this guy lol. Yeah, both his English and Japanese tweets are pretty awesome. xD I'm not the biggest fan of ChuableSoft (or moege in general) but I truly hope his games will get localized now. Quote
Maxel Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Mhm, he looks like he cares about his games/community in general, he answers most of the tweets, and look like he's sympathetic/friendly guy, I also hope that his games would get localised, even the worse ones. Quote
XReaper Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 yop its truly rare seeing one of the actual higher ups behaving so openly in public & stuff, also like conjurer said, his tweets are quite fun & there´re lots of them Quote
Satsuki Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 FrontWing just opened their official English site. Serious business is serious indeed. Quote
Conjueror Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 FrontWing just opened their official English site. Serious business is serious indeed. That serious business could have hired someone to translate their page instead of relying on machines (or local Japanese translators; it's sometimes hard to tell). xD Quote
Scorp Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Ha. Will go write them a mail complaining about their ugly pOnOses politics Quote
Crayten Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 イシダP(療養中) @twit_chu 7 Std. . @CraytenX We are trying to provide Chuablesoft's games all over the world. Thank you for your reply and pls wait good news! Quote
Maxel Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Reading through "company" tab is painful experience, atleast for me. That's good news Crayten, can't wait to see his games getting published in english, and hope more devs will come to SP/MG/Jast. Quote
Kawasumi Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Im pretty sure that we are getting some good news from them in next couple of months. >Zannen na Ore-tachi no Seishun Jijou has a heroine that starts the story by saying "greetings plebs" >MFW a VN character use the word "pleb" Quote

Decay Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 FrontWing just opened their official English site. Serious business is serious indeed. One interesting aspect is that they go out of their way to mention the games with art by Nanaka Mai, discussing Pure Girl, Innocent Girl, and Yuki Koi Melt specifically. I wonder if they're going to try to translate those. Admittedly that's kind of a stretch. Quote
Maxel Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 The best thing is, that they have time to do sh** like this, and release Chiru Chiru, but they don't have it to do QA on Grisaia 18+ or give SP engine faster etc... It's always x/xx days waiting time for their answers/things needed to do by them. I wonder how long will we have to wait... SP already did QA, am I wrong? Even stupid cover art approval for physical edition took them like over a month? Quote
Decay Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 To be fair, the people creating web pages for them have nothing to do with the QA process. You can't look at this and say "why aren't you doing QA instead?" because that's not how it works. Quote
