Narcosis Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 I'm not going to make an exception just because they finally slapped some porn onto it. FinalChaos and XReaper 2 Quote

Narcosis Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 So the finally implies you were waiting for it? Quote
Chuee Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 As for me, I'm not sure if it makes any difference. What I really want to see is people's reactions to this one. Everyone complained at how much of a bait fan service series it was, but how about now? (and what if it still doesn't have H-Scenes but just nudity?) Oh it has h-scenes alright. P0n0s in Vag00 h-scenes. Quote
Crayten Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 If you want a good beach VN better wait a few weeks for the translation of Koisuru Natsu no Last Resort https://vndb.org/v13046 from MDZ to finish. So dont waste any money on Sakura Beach. Quote
Eclipsed Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Add 18+ content & voice acting to all prior Sakura and I'll buy the entire series Quote
HotTrax Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Would actually try it if it had voice acting. Does it give steam key if you buy? Quote
XReaper Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 having now h-content or not makes no difference to me, as i´m way too broke for wasting me hard earned money for poorly written pseudo-japanized porn - also those shiny gd´s (especially the breasts) are a huuuge turn off in me case. reminds me on one hentai i´ve watched, i mean fuck no girls arent some fucking cars... SilverLi Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 I felt the sales of Sakura Beach vs Nekopara are a bit interesting now. According to Steamspy Nekopara sold 29k copies against Sakura Beach's 6.8k so far. That's a huge difference. Quote
sanahtlig Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Add 18+ content & voice acting to all prior Sakura and I'll buy the entire series I wouldn't go that far, but if Winged Cloud actually realized on the singular purpose the games are good for I wouldn't be able to dismiss the games as utterly worthless. As story-focused visual novels with no sexual content they suck, but with sexual content and competent voice acting at least they could make halfway decent porn. Although with no voice acting they'll be substandard even by doujin nukige standards. Suzu Fanatic and Kawasumi 2 Quote
Darklord Rooke Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 People have been wondering why Sekai's published Sakura Swim Club and not some of the other Sakura titles, and this may have been the reason. Winged Cloud no longer need Sekai as a publisher... until they wanted to bring attention to an 18+ version (by having it on the DenpaSoft store) which might otherwise have gone under the RADAR (because it's not on STEAM where most of their fans are.) Oh hey, that’s weird. Sakura Fantasy is being published by Sekai according to Steam, but when it was first put on the platform the publisher’s name was omitted. That’s irritating… and a little worrying. Now I’m starting to question my memory and whether I’ve been seeing things 0.0 *Rings doctor* Quote

The weird part about this is that barely anyone is paying attention to Denpasoft's twitter, nor are they regularly checking its website or anything since they have such a slow trickle of content. And SekaiProject still provides Denpasoft releases with zero publicity. So the only people who are going to notice are people who are reading threads like this. They should have at least put this on MangaGamer as well. For some reason, Sakura Spirit is the only Sakura game on MG. Suzu Fanatic 1 Quote
sanahtlig Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Bait laid: Steam discussion: Adult version of Sakura Swim Club available on Denpasoft Quote
Canicheslayer Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 I'm weak and curious. I'll try this one Quote
Darklord Rooke Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 I'm weak and curious. I'll try this one Be careful. Rumours abound that the unguarded playing of a single Sakura game can rot the soul from your body, and leave your decaying, huskish shell to wander the Earth until the end of time… if I remember it correctly. If you're dead set on playing the thing, I'd recommend playing it wearing a hazmat suit. Or at least wear a tinfoil hat or something. Quote
sanahtlig Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 The Steam discussion is already bringing me amusement. You mean I can get extra content for no extra cost? WHOA! I'd be all over this if I was actually interested in the game. Full sex and not just boobs too. About time. But does it give a Steam Key? The most important concern here is whether the Denpasoft version includes a Steam key. Not that it's better than the Steam version in every shape and form. Got to love Steam users. Quote

Darklord Rooke Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Well, Nekopara did have catgirls. If Silvery Li is talking about Neko Vol 0, it also benefits from a 3 dollar price tag Quote

sanahtlig Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Winged Cloud and Denpasoft have officially released a free decensor patch that adds the H-content from the adult version to the Steam version. https://www.patreon.com/posts/sakura-swim-club-3327358 Quote
