This is probably for the best, as if you can't even spell "install" right in your topic title, you're probably not cognitively developed enough to consent to pornography viewing.

There are a plethora of reasons for a person to be unable to or not bother to spell "install" properly beyond lack of cognitive development.

Not the least of which is lacking proficiency in the language, or having one of many medical problems which affect cognitive functions or even impede a person from detecting slight mistakes when writing or reading.

Steam users are too stupid to figure out how to install patches without the Steam autopatcher to do it for them.

It doesn't surprise me at all that most of Sakura Swim owners are 13-17 yrs old, which are rating this game positive on Steam. Just guessing there.

I saw the title in a "sharing site" and didint even realized it was part of The Sakura series(which was incredible dumb),Just wanted to try a nukige for the first time, if i hadn't seen this thread i dont wanna imagine what would have happend ...

i was thinking of trying it anyways but if people are saying it's really bad then i guess ill pass.

Winged Cloud appears to have greatly overestimated its audience.

 

...I'm half inclined to write a step-by-step guide for downloading and installing the patch for dummies.  I'm morbidly curious how many hits it would get.

I created a thread on the Steam forums with all the necessary resources to get porn into the game.  I spent hours of my own time writing a guide for them--a guide that Winged Cloud should have written, but didn't.  I did both Winged Cloud and their fanbase a favor.  If their fans don't want to read my guide, then they're free to figure it out themselves!

Sadly enough Winged Cloud are probably the closest to getting original english visual novels done right. They have the 18+ now you just need the voice acting and I might actually consider buying.

And in other news: Winged Cloud is now using the Steam forums for Sakura Swim Club to promote their donation page and their greatest hit ever: Sakura Clicker.  This topic was so important they pinned it.

Begging for donations in the forums of a title they're selling on Steam.  Whenever I'm feeling tainted, I can at least take small solace that Winged Cloud is in a league of its own.

The titles sound like they might host some interesting thoughts, until you read what the OPs actually have to say.

 

Who Do People Buy These Games?

I can understand maybe buying one of these games just to try out the genre. But once you've played one Hentai visual-novel game, you've pretty much played them all. The storylines are always trash, so why would you pay for pictures of cartoons? This is the internet, and you can fap to hentai all day for free if you want.

I'm less than a minute in and this is possibly the worst writing I've ever seen in a VN--and I've played some pretty bad VNs.  This has even Softhouse-Seal's platformers beat.  It's little wonder that Steam thinks VNs are fanfic-level garbage.

I initially decided to cover the game because Winged Cloud actually put out a 18+ title, and I sort of approve of that on ideological grounds.  After that, it just comes down to my personal obsessiveness--once I latch onto a topic I have difficulty letting it go.  Also, I never actually played a Sakura series title, so I'm vaguely curious just how bad it could possibly be.

I got the game thinking it could not be that bad, at least the h-scenes should be something. Well I started the game and got fed up and ended up skipping through most of the game, even the h-scenes, that is how bad it was. 0/10 would not start again, a waste of money, bandwidth, HDD space and most of all time.
