PeteN00b Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I was happily playing this yesterday without any problems, then I try and run it today and this happens. - Japanese Locale is ON - I ran the .bat file prior playing this VN, and I ran it once again as admin just now as it says on the FAQ but nothing happened Quote
Helvetica Standard Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 You don't need to run the bat everytime you play. XD Anyway, you might have broken something. Try this: * Uninstall and reinstall, then try to run exe again (don't forget to restart your PC after uninstalling.) *If the above doesn't work try running the .exe as admin with windows 7 compatibilty mode. Zakamutt Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Well, the error is just "error initializing application", so that doesn't help us much. A few things to think about: Did you running it as both admin and non-admin? Unlikely to help but worth a try. Have you moved the folder after running the bat file? For an easier diagnosis of potential registry issues, it would be nice to know how your HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/asgard/io_r2 keys looked in regedit. If it's not a registry issue, I'm not sure what would cause it honestly. Any weirdness with dual graphic cards (integrated vs separate, as in some laptops) around? PeteN00b 1 Quote
PeteN00b Posted September 10, 2015 Author Posted September 10, 2015 I arranged the problem: Somehow when I moved the game to another folder it seemed to stop running, but when I moved it back to it's original place (where I unzipped it) it worked again. Quote
