For example, am I the only one who occasionally types "lol", realize that I'm not actually laughing, and then proceed to give a small verbal chuckle just for the sake of actually laughing out loud?

I still see 'Jap' around the board occasionally.

Would have expected people here to know better.

 

For media mix, as an example, I cringe every time I see someone refer to GATE as being an anime adaptation of its manga.

It's not. It's an anime adaptation of the novel. Please know what the original medium of a work you're referring to is!
