Cancer strikes Totalbiscuit once more

I don't know how many of you keep up with Totalbiscuit (John Bain), or even know about him. For those of you who don't, he is a Youtuber that makes video game reviews and first impression videos, sounds pretty basic but I've always found him to be extremely entertaining. He is also part of the Co-Optional Podcast with Dodger and Jesse Cox. Now to the point, a while back he was diagnosed with what I believe was prostate cancer (correct me if i'm wrong), and earlier this year it seemed as if he overcame it, the cancer in his bowel was completely gone and he seemed to be in the clear. However, about 20 hours ago he sent out a tweet saying that he didn't know how to tell us something, and linked the above website (I think it's some sort of blog website?) saying that the cancer has spread to his liver and that the average life expectancy is 2-3 years. I just wanted to put this out there since he's a really awesome guy, and it'd be great if you guys could wish him luck, pray for him (if you are religious), etc. I don't know..i'm just kind of shocked I guess and felt the need to type this

Man, this is really heart breaking, I can't even begin to imagine how he and his family feel.

I really hope he can pull through all the chemo and be that person that goes beyond the average.

Either way, really really sad news.

I have been following him on youtube for a while, he is one of the youtubers that tells the truth and don't care about views and subscribers like everyone else does.

I was really hoping that it was gone forever, and now i feel really sad for him. I really hope he gets this fixed, if that's even possible.

The world needs people like him, he is a rare type of person.

Sigh, first my Father and now one of my favourite Youtubers. Fuck you cancer, just... fuck you...

I hope he can hold out for as long as possible. Nevermind his channel, just want him to recover or to live out the rest of his days in a way that will make him feel fulfilled in the end.

This is really depressing. I don't even know what to say.

He and his channel is a very important part of my life. Talking about ethics in gaming journalism, WTF series, pre-orders, DLCs, port report, content patch, and many more. He is considered by many to be the face of PC gaming journalism, the one who represents us PC gamers, the martyr for free speech and exposing dishonesty in the gaming industry. He possibly is one of the most intellectual game critic available who brings up topics that actually matters and should be discussed upon spreading awareness among gamers. For me, no one can replace him.

I really hope he outlives this average life expectancy.

First, this stupid cancer, then his team Axiom closes down, then (on an unrelated note) ELF announces departure from the vn industry.

I'm too depressed and frustrated to even think straight. I'll rage somewhere else.

Ah shit, I never followed his channel diligently for some reason, but the videos I did watch I always heavily enjoyed and I agreed with many of his points on the game industry. I pray that he is victorious in his battle against his cancer.

That's really sad to hear. Most of the time when I read or  listened to totalbiscuit he usually had something interesting thing to say or had a good take on events. I hope he gets through this.

This is a sad day for gamers everywhere. I hope both he can pull through this, the last thing this world needs s to loose one of it's greatest voices.
