Bleach Discussion Thread! [Spoilers]

So with the current arc, Bleach really has my attention. It really reminds me of the Arrancar arc, which is one of my personal favorite arc's in any of the mainstream long running shounen series. Actually, i'd almost say it's the best arc in the series so far. We're finally seeing backstory on just about all the characters (especially for one of my personal favorites, Shunsui), and some are even getting some much needed development. I just think people shit on it too much, when (in my opinion) it has some of the coolest abilities and fights I know of, and some of the characters designs (like the Arrancar's) are pretty neat. Also the anime, while filler filled, had probably the best animation out of the big three, and had some of the most memorable OP's and ED's in recent years (again, in my opinion). What are your opinions on it? Do you hate it? Or do you still stick with it, flawed as it may be?

Ahhh Bleach.....it was my favorite series of the big three....the Soul Society arc was amazing...the characters...fights...ban-kai....the Hichigo....and after that point there was introduced Vizards! ANother mysterious group with hollow powers! I was so hyped! It was amazing!.... But then the winter war arc happened....and thats where things gone wrong...overly stretched fights... i mean sure, Bleach always was slow paced...but this arc was SO slow, Kubo himself decided to get rid of half of fights ( Aizen killed arrancars himself) and thats not all, WOnderweiss fight was COMPLETELY CUT OUT...and you know what? thats not all either, the hyped Vizards was trashed....i mean TRASHED! Supposedly shinigami captians with ban-kai and hollow powers was in fact a complete FODDER!...well atleast we saw some Gin, Isshin, Urahara and Yoruichi action, and then...after the final getsuga tenshou happened and Ichigo become a normal human that was a perfect moment to end the series! But nooo, Kubo said "fuck it, gimme more monneh!". Everything what happened after that was a complete disaster. Vizards fodderised again, Byakuya's funeral which lasted 2-3 chapetrs turned out to be just a bluff. Zaraki achived shin-kai! Yay! Ownage! End of the world! Right? WRONG! He was fodderised too! Royal guards? HAH! Weaklings! Oh, and did i mentioned Aizen got FREED at the end? And whats more, the whole concept of Zanpakuto got DESTROYED. Those swords are not realy a manifestation of your soul, no, it is just a FRIGGIN MONSTER WHO FEEDS ON YOUR REATSU and give you power in exchange, what the fuck? I'll skip the part where Zangetsu turned out to be a part of Bach's soul.

The ONLY good thing in Bleach right now is Mayuri's Mad Carnival of Awesomenss (the best character of post Aizen part) and the revelation about Ukitake and Kyoraku.

 

So as for now... Bleach turned from the thing i waited every week to "sure, i got 10 seconds why not read it". It is really frustrating how Kubo destroyed his own world (in my opinion, ofcourse) so, to put long story short, how i feel about bleach:
