Subtitle box for visual novel reader is not showing up

Hi guys! I need help because the subtitle box is not showing up for me when I'm playing the boy's love game STEAL! and this has never happened before. It worked perfectly fine before and now it's not working at all! And the i saw that the H code for this game got recently got deleted for some reason. PLEASE HELP ME!!

I've had the same problem with some vn's i've tested with. Most works, but some the text box just doesn't appear. In the text options on the side menu the text is catched though.
