Silvz Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 I've already seen this question here on the forums, but maybe I'm noob, because I can't find the thread, so Which version of Air should I read? Gao Gao's or Sheeta's? Quote
Novel21 Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 I would recommend to read Air Gao Gao's translation Silvz 1 Quote

Deep Blue Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 gao gao and you didnt ask this but im gonna say it anyway if you skip minagi's route entirely you wont be missing anything in fact that's what you need to do (and kano too but it's not thaaaaaat bad) Quote
Zakamutt Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 This is interesting; I read the very start of each and I felt that Winter Confetti had better flow. They also have more voiced sections since they based it on a less shitty version. Gao Gao is supposedly better on translation accuracy though. In the end, having read a bit of both, I wasn't really impressed and decided that at some indeterminate point in the future I'd just read them in Japanese. Quote

Air is fairly easy to read in general except for one part (summer) which is actually really hard I can't tell you why but it is, for me it was the best part and the only good thing about the novel, that and some moments with misuzu Quote
