Fred the Barber Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Yesterday a top contender for greatest living rock star and greatest living guitarist, today no longer with us. Rest in peace, Kid. Deep Blue and FruitsPunchSamurai 2 Quote
OriginalRen Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Saw this at work. Prince was from Minnesota where I was born, and I deeply respect his contribution to music. RIP. Fred the Barber 1 Quote
Valmore Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 MJ *may* have been the King of Pop, but everyone knows the ladies wanted to take Prince home for the night. Hopefully it's an eternal 1999 Party where he is now. Fred the Barber 1 Quote
Darklord Rooke Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Ah shit! This is sad news, indeed RIP The Artist Formerly Known As The Artist Formerly Known As Prince. Quote
Nosebleed Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Not only a musician but an inventor and a visionary. You didn't go to a Prince concert to simply listen to music, you would go to feel a completely unique experience. The world is definitely an emptier place without him. Fred the Barber 1 Quote
Deep Blue Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 I never saw that version of while my guitar gently weeps (I knew about the one with eric clapton) , fucking amazing, that solo at the end. RIP Fred the Barber 1 Quote

RIP That's an awesome video, thanks for sharing it. I knew he was crazy religious, and I'd heard about "the vault" before (some ten years ago I heard about how he had vastly more unreleased material than released material, and frankly his public output is already quite a bit higher than most musicians), but I'd never heard anything like that kind of intimate story.
