Luckily, this time I found enough motivation to restart learning JP>> After 6 months of lazily staring at nowhere, It seems that I found motivation somewhere along the way.. Currently, I'm still bored.> With me knowing Kana already, Though I still get confused> Due to the 6 months thing... I plan to do it in THE MOST TIME CONSUMING WAY so that I would have something that I can do in my free time... I'm gonna Learn kanji PER GRADE. PER STROKE. PER READING. PER RADICAL. ETC... Via Internet. After so, if i still haven't faded off to the wind, I'm going to my grammar. Since Grammar can be a leeway if you feel like you need to make a sentence, I'm just gonna google it. I feel that more words known will be better than knowing grammar.. + The fact that I need to consume time... I mean Lots of time.. My listing of learned will probably at a post below. Though, I easily forget things too.. If I barely say it within a long time span, unless it/he has significant important, I forget it.. I mean, I saw my friend who I knew by face.. but the name,, God I Forgot... Quote

With that said I certainly don't just memorize the words of the story, and the thing is, creating the mental picture and memory of the story is the hard part -- imagining stuff takes a lot of mental strength for me lol (I am currently at kanji 376). It's slow, but it works, and it means I needn't the help of a teacher. Also, I think that learning at least a good amount of grammar as well helps immensely; you can start making basic sentences by yourself; cementing what you've learnt into your brain. Even at grade one, it's a good idea to know, for example, basic particle-use, IMHO. Quote
