Any atmospheric VNs you'd recommend?

So I'm just looking for a VN that oozes atmosphere.

The House in Fata Morgana, I think there's nothing more atmosferic than this on the english market.

Planetarian, if you have the right mind for it, sucks you in like nothing else out there.

Also, A lot of Liarsoft titles do it well, particularly the steampunk series .

Play Saya no Uta if you haven't already, it fits more with your examples.

Planetarian was pretty good but didn't suck me in that much, but Saya no Uta was wonderful.

Then you'd probably like swan song. Also, maybe check out fault milestone. It's a bit infodumpy, but with the recent retranslation, I highly recommend it.

I'd also throw in Minori's Eden and Root Double certainly also has it's moments when you ignore route B.

I also liked the atmosphere in Aoishiro even if the title is not without it's flaws like the somewhat repetitive routes.

Va11Halla and The House in Fata Morgana are your two best bets. Liar-soft VNs maybe

Overall, I would say that yes, Fata Morgana is the closest thing to what you're looking for, but I think Phenomeno deserves a mention as well. It's a horror VN, and I think that it's worth the short amount of time spent to read it.

Another vote for the WAB series / Steampunk series. I'd recommend Inganock as a starting point.

Also, bats's VA-11 Hall-A suggestion is a good one, and a little more off the beaten path.
