Yahari Ore no Seishun Rabu Kome wa Machigatteiru.

It doesn't have to be a perfect match, obviously, just something in a similar vein.

Since it's gonna be awhile before the light novels are all translated or season 3 of the anime even comes out in Japan... if ever...

You've probably already read it, but if you haven't, Wataru Watari has another novel that's translated Kuzu to Kinka no Qualidea. Also this might just be me, but Sayonara Piano Sonata gave me a somewhat similar feeling while reading it.

For the anime side of things, I would recommend Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo and Kokoro Connect. 

If you've already read/watched all of these I can look for more. This is just what comes to my mind at this moment.

I love that anime  Yahari Ore no Seishun Rabu Kome wa Machigatteiru. I am also trying to find something similar to that anime but no luck. Nothing was as good as that anime.

Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou is a really good anime. Give it a shot.
