Okami Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 A Daiteikoku translation project that was dropped by TLwiki on March 11, 2012 was picked up by new translator M0nt1sdead as of July 8, 2013, he is now recruiting more translators (already recruited editors and QA's) and he is going to continue where last translators left off (35%). I don't have anything with this project I am just spreading the word. So if there is anyone interested this is their official page where you can follow the project and contact the led translator if you are interested in helping in this project or if you have any questions http://tlwiki.org/index.php?title=Daiteikoku . You can also download the 35% patch on the same page. For thouse that didn't hire about this VN and want to check it out here is VNDB link: http://vndb.org/v3066 Quote

Kaguya Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Do you have any sources on this? Last time I've checked, he said that he's going to start from scratch. Taken from Daiteikoku TLWiki:http://tlwiki.org/index.php?title=Daiteikoku#RECRUITING_MEMBERS RECRUITING MEMBERS Real Life stuff is hard to avoid. Therefore not much progress has been made in translating. I will be rather then continuing the 35% Progress Mark made by the previous translators. So yeah 35% Translation done thanks to the previous translators. Now to start up on the remaining 75%. But that's not the focus of this section. I've received numerous mail offers in helping to translate the game. I'm currently recruiting additional translators. Send me a mail for application then I'll review it then add you to a new staff roster list that I will make when I finalize the members. I already have someone for QA and Editing. He messed up with the numbers, though... (75 + 35= 110) Quote
RusAnon Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Good news then. Existing TL wasn't that bad to abandon it. Quote
shcboomer Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Good news then. Existing TL wasn't that bad to abandon it. Honestly, sometimes it may be better to just continue than to dump. Else it could end up like Air and take a huge amount of time because TLs drop and then the next TLs drops the previous TLs scripts... Quote
