Now that I think about it, I recall actually liking Chihiro's h-scene in ef. Granted, it still had a lot of the tropes you find in hentai, but for the most part I thought it conveyed pretty well the clumsiness and awkwardness of inexperienced young people and it was pretty sweet.

Well, I can't blame you, I'm very much the same - and it basically made me stop watching porn for recreational uses at a certain point.   Of course, I don't want to say anyone should do that or claim moral superiority of any kind, I'm thankfully in a relationship for many years now and don't really have need for porn anyways so it wasn't some heroic sacrifice on my part. :>
