Mephisto Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 damn that was traumatic >.< that was the first time a h-scene made go doki doki~ That makes it sound as if the H-scene was really powerful, and important. Anyway, I agree, and I find H-scenes really annoying if there are too many of them. Since everyone is giving suggestions, here's a few of mine : G-senjou no Maou - it's a great VN and should be read, lots of suspense/mystery. The MC is great. Grisaia no Kajitsu - This VN is pretty much a masterpiece. It has a badass MC, five extremely well written characters, and an odd, but believable situation. It's a character focused novel, which are amazing when well written. Hoshizora no Memoria - Apparently this is a mandatory if you like Lolis, and it's even better if you don't like Lolis. The main character is decent, not as good as the two I listed above, but the scenario/heroines are a lot of fun. Romance/school-based. Yumina the Ethereal/Aselia the Eternal - Two different games, but made by the same group. They are RPG games, and Yumina has a better combat system, but Aselia has a better storyline. Keep in mind since it's a JRPG can feel a little grindy at times. Kamidori Alchemy Meister - The most well known RPG, contains a TON of grind, but the game is pretty fun/addicting, and the story is okay-ish I guess. Cali 1 Quote
Alexis96 Posted October 5, 2013 Author Posted October 5, 2013 alexis if you ever read Ef... turn off the h-scenes What is EF? O___________ H scenes, huh. If you dislike them, just press control. They'll be finished in a few seconds~ Saya is great and it would be a pity to see you drop it because of such a small matter. Specially since Saya has incredibly small H scenes compared to other VNs. No amount of Ctrl would cleanse my already tarnished soul T.T You say small commpared to what? o Quote
Kaguya Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 What is EF? O___________ No amount of Ctrl would cleanse my already tarnished soul T.T You say small commpared to what? o Compared to basically every other visual novel I've read in my life. Saya's H-scenes are simply short. close your eyes if you don't want to see it while pressing control~ Quote
Alexis96 Posted October 5, 2013 Author Posted October 5, 2013 Continue saya no uta when you feel you're able. It's really good HOLY SHEEP ZAKAMUTT YOU'RE RIGHT I just finished it, got a... 'good ending' IDK though, cause Saya dies, but it was so... Sad... T_T I never knew Eroge could be so, so deep... ....I'm still crying.... Compared to basically every other visual novel I've read in my life. Saya's H-scenes are simply short. close your eyes if you don't want to see it while pressing control~ Yeah, I just finished it, and I see what you mean. It's short enough, but rather interesting- //runsandhidesbehindacouch Quote
Nosebleed Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 I never knew Eroge could be so, so deep... There's a lot of VNs that are considered eroge just because they have H-scenes but what makes them good is the amazing storyline. For example Hoshizora no Memoria can be considered an eroge but hell Asuho's route made me tear and the true route was an emotional rollercoaster as well, with only a few h-scenes in each route i don't think it ruins the greatness that the VN is , and you can always skip them of course.
