Question about ef - a fairy tale of the two

A quick question cause I'm really confused after checking multiple "walkthroughs" and sites, is it possible to get a kei route as Hiro? I'm currently at the beginning of the second tale where you play as kyousuke but I really don't want to play through a kei route with him.

I'm fairly certain that the protag you play as with each heroine is pre-determined and you can't change it.

That's odd... I really thought you could choose between Kei and Miyako. The one you choose will go to Hiro and the remaining to Kyousuke. I guess it should go that way.

But of course, the real meat is in the second part's heroines: Chihiro, Mizuki and Yuuko.

Wait, by second part, do you mean that there's a separate game, or that it's a different part of the storyline?

The game is played in multiple "parts" from the perspective of multiple couples.
