Dizzyworld2 Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 key15th, the group that organized the 15th Anniversary Letter project and A History Of Emotion held at Anime North, started a kickstarter to fund a documentary exploring the real-life locations found in Key's works. The pledges start from $5 USD and have many rewards. It ranges from an album titled "Rebirth", a T-shirt, the documentary itself, an original printed setting material from several animes like Little Busters!, Angel Beats!, Haruhi, and Puella Magi, and other goodies. I have personally provided the art for the album cover and the T-shirt and will talk about the album since I know about that information the most. The album will feature arranges by many fans from around the world, including some highly regarded ones like Kyle Landry, Animenz, TehIshter, and The Setting Sun, and other lesser-known ones. There will be 2 different methods of distribution on this - physical and digital. The physical copy will include at least one bonus track and a booklet featuring everyone that was involved in it. It will have 2 CDs - one featuring Clannad and another featuring other key works. If you are a key fan, which I'm pretty sure is a lot of people, or loved any key's works (Clannad, Little Busters!, Angel Beats!, Rewrite, etc), it would be wonderful if you can back the kickstarter. More and through information can be found on the kickstarter page. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ibhmc/key15th-a-visual-documentary /I hope no one's bothered by the adversiting OTL Quote
shcboomer Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 That is pretty awesome, I'll consider dropping some money if I can spare some off my next paycheck. Glad to see that you got to design some art, it looks pretty amazing. Keep up the good work Dizzyworld2! Quote
Mevvrynne Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 As soon as I get more clients I will gladly donate a good sum. I've known about the Key15th Letter Project for a long time now and still support them. Quote

Aspirety Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 So... Is Clannad Man really such a celebrity that I need to pay $2500 to get his autograph? Something about that rubs me the wrong way, heh. That aside, I'm really eager to help. One question though. What exactly is an "original printed setting material"? Quote
Tay Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Very cool. I'd love to put this on the blog (thanks agin, shcboomer, for the idea). Thank you for sharing! Quote
Steve Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Interesting. Reminds me of the time when I was looking for the places from Hoshimemo on google street xD Now that I think about it they could also just take pictures from google street and it wouldn't cost anything But I guess they want it in video format xD Quote
Steve Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Reminds me of the time when I was looking for the places from Hoshimemo on google street xD Which now makes me sad after checking it again, because they updated picture on google street from the previous one, the original one and the one I was looking at was from October 2011 and now a picture from April 2012 is there and it changed too much. ingame: http://i.imgur.com/DdMgkXr.jpg 2011 picture: http://i.imgur.com/j9BiF3J.jpg 2012 google street view: http://goo.gl/maps/FsFsa you can even see the remains in the ground after the railing was removed if you turn around and zoom ( http://goo.gl/maps/6xDRI ) Such a nice railing, why would they remove it And if you travel more up, you can get to the 2011 view but only from far away: http://goo.gl/maps/hEeEF but you can see the beautiful chain railing that everyone remembers from Hoshimemo Which then brings me to the point, they might actually find themselves really disappointed when doing the documentary, most Key games are even much older than Hoshimemo so the things will probably look not even remotely close to what it looked in the game. Like we are talking 15 years after all xD And you can see from my example what a single year can change~ Quote

Forythos Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 I'm interested in the music album, I might pledge for either the digital or physical version, not sure yet. Quote
