solidbatman Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=191616515 Go vote? I hear its good. Would be nice if the vn would stop crashing on me. Quote
Zalor Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Will I still be able to download the game from Fuwanovel if it gets green lit. I'm probably in a minority of people who think this, but I don't really like Steam. Downloading from Fuwa is so much easier for me. Quote

nohman Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Thanks for the heads up, solidbatman. I think this would be a good VN to get on steam. Quote
Ashadow700 Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 HOLY Shi--! YEESS! THIS IS THE BEST THING EV-- ... ...wait... ... I thought Narcissu was freeware? If it's on steam it won't be avalible for free, right? O_o Quote
Bolverk Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 There are games on steam that is free. (besides mods) So i don't see why it won't be free. Well it could be that those games are exceptions. Either way a greenlight for this game is great. I haven't played it, but supposedly it's good. Need more good VN's to the western market. Steam is a very good platform possibly for that. Quote
DrKleiner Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 This was, luckily, brought in by Sekai Project, and they have also said that they have some more projects coming soon, so you can look forward to that. Quote
Crysis99 Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Well I just hope it doesn't get all those stereotypical comments from people who don't really know better, like what happened with Higurashi, though I hope this will be welcomed more warmly. Quote

I think that might be too much to hope for . I just hope that it'll get greenlighted and garner even just a moderate, positive critical response. Quote
InvertMouse Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Voted! If any game is going to represent the VN community it may as well be this one. Zero fanservice and filled with meaning. *Looks at comments* "No gameplay video, downvote" (TUT)~ Quote
johnnysasaki Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 are they going to be based on the PSP ports that added voices? Quote
Zakamutt Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 are they going to be based on the PSP ports that added voices? Narcissu 1st back in 2005 had a web version. We will be posting Narcissu 2nd which contains Narcissu 1st, that did not have a web version and includes the updated visuals and audio from the Japanese CD version. Quote
meru Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Voted! Am crossing my fingers for this getting greenlit. Quote
neromercer Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 I already voted this, hope this gets over to Steam! Quote
Sioxz Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 i would like to vote but i don't remeber my steam password anymore Quote
nohman Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Found this on r/visualnovels: http://vntls.org/news/narcissu-on-greenlight-an-interview-with-the-sekai-project-staff/ Quote
Ruri Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Didn't even took a month until the game was greenlight (4th dec batch) Quote
Kendjin Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 and yet... I cannot buy it yet, it has FAILLLEEDDD! Quote
Ruri Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 1) They need to implement the Steam stuff 2) It's free to play, so unless Valve doesn't allow them to offer it for free you won't have to pay for the new translated version... Not that you can't always read the older translation Quote

Not that you can't always read the older translation Well Valve already allowed tons of F2P titles on steam, even ones without any sort of microtransaction so i doubt they will have trouble releasing it for free. Kendjin Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 I think the issue with releasing it for free is that most things that go up on Steam either give over a % of profit or pay a small fee for hosting. I wouldn't be surprised if the game has a small fee. Quote
solidbatman Posted December 7, 2013 Author Posted December 7, 2013 I think I remember them saying it would be completely free. Didn't the writer not want people to pay for it or something? Quote
Zakamutt Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 "as low price as steam will let us, hopefully free" Quote
meru Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 I am soooooo happy that this got greenlit Getting VN onto Steam is a major step towards increasing their popularity and exposure in the West. Quote
