Tarkin Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 I'm currently playing Shinigami no Kiss and was wandering if there is a way to make the game window larger. I changed to fullscreen and checked force 4:3 but it still stretched it out to fit my monitor(16:9). There are many games i would like to make run in a larger window, or even fullscreen but they always end up stretched. Quote
Nayleen Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 That's entirely dependent on your monitor and graphics card driver settings. Either one of "Full-screen" or "No scaling" should give you the expected result. No idea for ATI cards though. Can't help you with your monitor scaling settings, obviously. Quote
Steve Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 You can use Magnifier to zoom on specific part of screen by increments of 25% (after setting in Magnifier options to have increment 25%) To run it just type 'Magnifier' into start menu and press enter. Also your 16:9 monitor should have an option to change to 4:3 view (in one of the settings using the physical buttons on the monitor itself), if you use that your whole screen will shrink but once you put the game in fullscreen, it will be maximum size with black bars on side. Tarkin Posted November 16, 2013 Author Posted November 16, 2013 Thanks for the prompt replies. Didn't even think of looking at my graphics settings, or zoom for that matter. Quote
REtransInternational Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Beware that some monitors (usually at the lower end) don't have any scaling options and just default to stretching the signal to fill the screen. Quote
