Shadowshade Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 (edited) Hello! I've recently come across a restoration patch for If My Heart Had Wings: Flight Diary, and I wanted to translate the restored scenes within said patch, as they are all Japanese. I have extracted the Rio.arc file and am left with .ws2 files, but for the sake of me, I can't seem to figure out how to open them properly, is there a specific tool (next to WordStar itself) to open these files? Cheers! Edited July 23, 2023 by Shadowshade Quote
Ririvee Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 Were you ever able to find an answer for this? I was going through Blackish House by Honeybee's files and found the scripts to be stored in .ws2 files as well. Editing them in Notepad++ shows the Japanese text but also an awful lot of NULs where there are presumably system commands. Quote
KuronekoRM Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 @Veshurik @Ririvee I was able to translate a game using ws2 format using arcusmaximus translation tools: https://github.com/arcusmaximus/VNTranslationTools Hope it works with the games mentioned on this thread too! Quote
