Ao Natsu Line. August 2023. In English. Get ready.

Hi, I'm Duck with Blue Overture Translations. My group is gearing up to release our translation of Ao Natsu Line. It is a work in progress, however, the ENTIRE demo version is ready for release by the end of this month, August 2023! Keep these in mind:

• This is exclusively in English, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch version. PC, PS4 and PSVita unsupported.
• This is the full demo translated, however the patch will also work on the full version. Anything past chapter 9 of the main route will not be translated yet.
• Ao Natsu Line is one of the top VNs released in 2019 according to a few sources. I know a lot of you have been asking for it.

We are looking for playtesters. This thing is almost out the door, we need some QC! Also, yep, apparently there is a team called Alka working on the PC version. Can't wait to try it

I`m happy Alka it`s translating PC version since I don`t own jailbreak Nintendo Switch, so I hope Alka won`t dropp it. 

I hope someone will playtest it for you and good luck with this project.

Wouldn't it be better to join forces with Alka? As far as I know, their translation is stalled [at least there weren't any recent updates], so this could be a chance to have the whole game translated quickier, QChecked and released both on Switch and PC.

Reply all… long story short? I went to Alka before beginning work. I wanted to help them. They turned me away or completely ignored me depending on the person I was able to message. 
 

Alka has apparently been working on this title for 2 years now. When was the last time they gave an update? 
 

my team (2 people) have done substantially more work in 6 months than any other group who picked this up publicly. I’ll be damned if my work is published by a group who treated me and my partner this way. No problem, we will simply do it ourselves and I wish them the best with their version

But could you translate the PC version since there are not many people who have a jailbroken Nintendo Switch and therefore no chance to play Ao Natsu Line in English, I am one of them. Since Aika translation for Ao Natsu Line is stalled. It would be so much better and make a lot of people happy. I know I'm a bit disappointed.

If you have a PC, try Yuzu or Ryujinx for our translation. I’m using it to playtest. No issues so far. 
 

We simply don’t have the tools to make a PC version so we are focusing only on Switch. If Alka or whoever wants to port our work, they can if they credit us.
