Your favourite type of monster?

Well I was just curious as to what everyone's favourite type of monster(Creature, animal, etc) is, my own personal favourite is this little bugger from Ragnarok Online.

Since people would probably immediately think I would say the energy drink (I was going to say at first...), I would have to go with the Barioth from the Monster Hunter series:

When I first fought a Barioth by myself in Monster Hunter 3 on the Wii, I was kinda going insane because of how fast that thing was compared to other monsters.  Also....it just looks incredible.

 

Or the Behemoths from the Final Fantasy franchise:

If there's ever a monster to represent the Final Fantasy franchise, nothing is as iconic as the Behemoth.  Towering, monstrous, ferocious, deadly, pant-staining terrifying.

I always liked kitsune/tailed foxes, with their shapeshifting and shrewdness

Tigers too, as they represent, algonside the dragon, part of the Yin Yang

If it can't be moon rabbits, and I'm forced to pick a real "monster" probably this guy. Something about him just screams "cool". Putting it under spoilers for those who haven't played Persona 4, but still want to play it (and are miraculously unspoiled until today).

I like a lot of monsters but when i try to think the first thing that come to my mind is Werewolf  , I didn't think about Holo but it's true that she is beautiful well anyway i choose Werewolf

How about slimes? You see them all the time, and they're usually easy to clear too.

well the thing for me is that i have two the kirin and the lich but if were talking youkai then it has to be yuki-onna

All of the monsters from "Earthbound". Those enemies were crazy: you could fight anything from scalding hot cups of coffee to smelly ghosts.

I have a personal affection for the kraken. I just loved his fight.

One that really stands out is the vampire. So many different cultures have there take on this creature and the folklore has endured over the years (albeit twisted). Just as long as they don't sparkle.
