Down Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Hey. I just installed Draculius, and tried to hook it with ITH. The thing is, the process doesn't appear in the process list of ITH. I tried other VNs, they do work fine, so I have no idea why this one wouldn't appear. Anyone have an idea on what is wrong? I googled around but can't seem to find anything about processes not showing up... I'm using Windows XP. Quote
cryofrzd Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Sometimes VNs have less obvious names as processes, keep an eye on the list before and after you start the VN. If you find a new process, the chances are high it's the wanted. Quote
Down Posted December 14, 2013 Author Posted December 14, 2013 There's absolutely no new process showing up in ITH when I launch Draculius. I looked up the PID via tasklist, tried quitting and starting again, it's definitely not in the ITH process list :/ Quote
cryofrzd Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Just a notice, the PID doesn't have to be the same the second time you started the VN compared to the first. I'm sorry I can't test it and see the problem because I don't have the VN installed. Quote

It probably had to do with ITH not being opened with admin rights (which made it previously crash). ...However, now, trying to attach DRA.exe to ITH will make both crash. --" Another thing, if I open dra.exe the regular way, I get a registry reading error. I I run it as an admin, no problem. Might be related, I don't know... Quote

Bolverk Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 As it might be a admin problem try changing both ITH and DRA.exe to run under administrator. -Just right click on the exe, properties, compabillity, admin right's "checked". Other than that. Having the latest ITH might help, which version do you have? The latest version is ITH 3.0 (2012.05.05) Get it here. The lateset one should be "ITH_UpdaterV3.rar" Quote
Down Posted December 14, 2013 Author Posted December 14, 2013 Proceeded to update ITH to 3.0, this one doesn't crash when I run it as admin. Then ran Draculius and successfully attached it without both crashing /o/ Hook complete, thanks to both of you! Now I'll be out practicing my japanese. Quote
