Higurashi Kizuna. Is someone interested in working on it?

I was surprised to see that Higurashi Kizuna don't have any patch nor people working on it, i searched a bit and I found these links:

But the projects are stalled, so I though, is someone in Fuwanovel forums that are interested in working on it? I can't help much because both my levels at hacking and japanese are initial but i can try to find some people that are interested in working on it... What do you think?

By bizarre coincidence I'm actually the  guy who started doing the translation for that Gaia thread. Yes... once long ago I went by the name 'Manly Shun'.

That said, the problem with Ryuukishi stuff is that he's really, really hard to translate. He uses sentences so long that by the time you get to the end you forget how it started. He uses metaphor and plays on words to convey ideas (hell even the VERY FIRST LINE in Higurashi is hard to interpret). And, to top all that off, Higurashi has already been translated. Now the DS version does have some new stuff, but it's hard to get motivated for such an enormous project (I mean it spans 4 DS games) when there's an English version of the main chapters readily available.

 

Sorry, normally I'd jump on the chance to do a non-H game... especially one I already worked on years before, but... yeah.
