It's ironic i'm almost finished with the Gintama series (watching Echousen as we speak) and the movie BD comes out with perfect timing. 

Really looking forward to it and i'm so glad i was convinced to watch Gintama for the first time because it is a masterpiece. I heard the movie is hilarious (why did i even doubt it wouldn't be). I'll post once i watch it.

Just finished watching. Great movie.

 

It's pretty much like the formula of an arc of Gintama in one movie: some hilarious scenes, fan-service, a bit of dramatic moments, big fights, more laughs, more fan-service, and all the characters showing up. Same old formula, but it has a thing to never tire you and it only gets better all the time.

 

Oh, and I had to pause because I was laughing too hard when I saw this:

By "one arc of Gintama" do you mean an arc that was in the actual series or an original story? I heard it was original..

I mean the other movie Benizakura-hen was good of course but i was craving for original content.

No, it's original. I meant that it followed the same usual pattern there is in your typical Gintama arc.

It's being great so far. Seeing everyone evolving like that was a shock. All hail tsundere Kagura.

I still feel sorry for Madao, one of the best characters there and still can't get a job.

That ending was so perfect i can't even

Shinpachi's glasses disappearing instead of Shinpachi, i broke my ribcage laughing at that-

I love Gintama's way of completely ruining an emotional moment

Am i the only one that thinks they made Kagura look all mature just for the fanservice? I mean it wasn't blantantly obvious but you could tell.

 

Overall it was a nice movie. Loved seeing all the characters again. 

Needed some more Kamui killing things and Shinsuke wrecking stuff but it was still good.

 

Listening to Pray after the ending credits. Nostalgia trip!
